There were four men
searching for truth
They all knew

to say what was the truth.

What in love comes to mind

If love’s goodness first comes to mind,
As often disgust comes to mind.

Its loveliness first comes to mind,
How it gets to rust comes to mind.

How a soft and as sweet a breeze,
Turns to squally gust comes to mind.

That which looks like love so profound,
How turns out sheer lust comes to mind.

What may seem like mundane the

Man Is Monster

I tighten your tie, tighten in your lies, shine your shoes so I can see the real you and hold your eyes to mine in the big blue sky.
So I can see inside the hollowness that is you.

Won't Take That

She gave her word and I just believed,
was the best thing that happened to me,
but, before long, on camera I see
her sneaking with a man who lives up the street.

Probed her for truth, but, oh, she just lie,
never had a hint of guilt in her eyes,
how can someone feel that justified,

He's cheesy, conning, plain, and a freeloader
She's in her twenties and smart
Her friends ask why this old fart

The morning woods were crackling with unknown sounds.
Then I heard a rustling sound in the leaves.
The sound of footsteps was getting louder,

I've amassed a fair number of brown South Asian lovers.
In my mind I revisit one whom I slept with beneath covers,

Isn't it funny how people see money
pieces of metal so very small
there's not a lot you can do
with a penny or two
money itself has really no uses at all
it used to be beads and once it was shells
at least you could wear them and buy or sell
