Worldly Wise

If the world is going to hell in a handbasket,
'Who's holding the handle?'
is the real question, and I have to ask it.
Also, I wonder how well the world would function
if all corruption were removed at this junction.
Destroy despotism, no more nepotism,
do away with liars, fakers, thieves, heartbreakers,
abolish pundits, politicians, priests, on-the-takers.
If we eliminate crime, cigarettes, drugs and insanity,
so those evils become a thing of the past,
a change for the better could restore humanity,
but how long would it last?
We'll never know, as little is learned from history,
and why that's so is still a mystery.
In the beginning, there were only two,
(whether or not you believe in Adam and Eve)
it's no surprise mankind is clueless what to do
as, since then; incest, inbreeding and man's hate
has brought populations to such a terrible state,
despite those who do good, few and far between,
perhaps it's in their food, or possibly the genes.

Suck off

Ted’s teaching grandma to suck eggs
“Don’t patronise me lad,” she begs
"It’s a job I can do
SO much better than you
Just scarper on your asses legs!"

Gran whispers words I won’t repeat
Ted’s blushes as red as a beet
She is so worldly wise
And it is no surprise
This jackass won’t usurp her seat!

Premium Member In that moment

Oh, ye teachers of the law
And the leaders of the world of darkness.
In that moment when the curtain was torn,
The earth trembled while the sun was darkened from noon to three.
Did it occur this self judgment
Brought forth unto thou.
How amazing the ones who had scriptures memorized into their corrupt teachings.
Would not recognize the Son of God.
For all scriptures lead to him, and God used the ignorance and worldly wise to fulfill the promised inheritance of the Holy Spirit, to be sent unto the humble and contrite heart seeking in pureness.
As an atonement unto a corrupt generation, to be purified into the likeness of Christ, a chosen generation called out from strongholds of Satan, a new creation birthed from the heavenly mother of Jerusalem, not of man but of God.
Its not that we loved God but God loved us.
Yet others who have killed, all God sent, even the only begotten Son , who have seen the light and reject, remain under the captivity of Satan. This Spirit to save is available at any moment at your location, for God wants you to become a dwelling place of the true Living God.

Ye love me more for who I am

Let this world mete out to thee unjust blame.
To me, thy fairest eyes shall ever shine,
Let tongues parrot what so eyes at fault frame,
Thy praise alone shall reach keen ears of mine.
Let humble thou of thyself speak modest,
Me, knowing thee well, shall always exhort
Thee to hoist whatever be the fairest,
Modesty never plays a partial sport.

It’s rare still if one in love’s worldly-wise,
My views when weighed by love, are purified
By fire of truth can never once be lies,
An if my faith in love’s fairly applied,
I know, as well as thou, ye love me more
For who I’m than all that I said afore.

“I hold a delightful being and an undesirable being inside of me.
It’s up to you which one you meet”

Premium Member When Angels Battle the Lord of the Flies

When angels battle the Lord of the Flies,
apologists war with devils of doubt
(the skeptic, the cynic, and worldly-wise);
the unknowns shrink the hearts of the devout:

fear, disease, pain, war, death, all the horror
of Eve's sin for heeding that serpent's lies,
whilst doubting the Truth in whose hand mirror
we creatures viewed ourselves immortal, wise

like gods. But doubt, like hope, refreshes faith;
and faith, belief, when fertilized, knows grace:
then revelation (with love, mercy, and ruth,
from Him that made the earth and us, a race

of humans both male and female). Whether
we choose, live, die: all rising together!

Premium Member French Onion Soup

I first ordered French Onion Soup
while dating a new girl I’d met
I did this to seem worldly-wise;
This is something I wouldn’t advise;
It’s a soup that plays hard to get!

It arrived and threw me a loop;
For a start, it’s covered in bread
sealed with some hot molten cheese.
I stared long and thought, holy-jeez
then picked up a spoon with some dread.

I felt like a big nincompoop;
I stabbed at the cheese, on it’s raft
which made its escape from the bowl;
flew totally out of control
like some sort of alien craft.

I honestly tried to regroup
with the girl, with cheese on her lap
who, by then, was sobbing away;
I said, “Would you like some sorbet?”
She quietly called me a sap!

A Worldly Wise Woman Is Solomon Wise

A woman who’s worldly-wise
In men’s rooms lies belly-wise:
Watching her you choke breath-wise,
A bed six meters length-wise!

You fail to look you’re not wise:
“Please, go and meet the street-wise
To stop being rather unwise
And your eyes permit the price”

A woman for the world wise
Could your dear life make her price,
Try to with it rise and rise,
Now choosing to move clockwise,
All too soon, anticlockwise…

Member of club For True Lies,
Her needs she gets from false cries:
She’s never the penny-wise,
Not when she’s Solomon-wise

Premium Member The Way We Are

Our tender eyes betray the way we see
Honouring God’s presence within each heart
That deems all of us as one, none apart
Viewed thus from soul’s eye, joyous and carefree
Our innocence with bliss beats does agree
Having willingly added love to cart
Thus feeling bliss ignition within start
Being the way we become and so be

It maybe said that we’re not worldly wise
For we engage not in one-upmanship
Resting in our heart watching bliss beats rise
Beholding life’s flow in childlike surprise
With the pulse of love being our flagship
Distanced from the world of deceit and lies

Then Leave Love and Sex

Things weren’t happening his way sex-wise
With a first lover damned worldly-wise,
A strange second with spiritual eyes,
A third who wouldn’t lie belly-wise
And a fourth wanting, first, some big prize:
Some kind of “Can’t you see my size
Or have your eyes been telling you lies?

‘Not smart trying a fifth who’s street-wise,
Rougher, tougher, still as worldly-wise;
‘A week with her to be heard your cries.’

Then, really the wise things: to leave sex
Cancel a meeting on it with Alex.

St Kabeer Couplets 16: Weigh Every Word Ere Uttered

Priceless precious what we speak,
We all do and far too quick,
O let your heart weigh words well
Ere tongue turns them out to spell.

Boli ek anmol hai, jo koi bolai jani,
Hiye taraju tauli ke, tab mukha bahar ani.

Everyone knows to speak, but few know the value and weight of their words, nor their capacity to make mischief. Kabeer advises people to weigh every word with the weighing balance (taraju) of their heart (hiye) before it is uttered. A fool is he of a worldly-wise school that knows it not.

Troublesome Kid

He was a troublesome kid,
Who punched the others and hid
If this wasn't safe, off slid
To be of reprisals rid...

Venturesome troublesome kid,
Who pot distances from lid
And could 12:00 pm from Mid;
A Life of the Twisty Grid
A street wise worldly - wise kid,
Who torched things and asked "who did?"
Nigeria's Grid of A kid?.

Premium Member Goodbye Queen Elizabeth

Majesty and Grace, Duty and Forbearance,
Yet who was the woman behind the smile,
A mother, wife whose youthful preference
To live a simpler life among the rolling hills of her beautiful green isle.

Yet fate plays games, it's choices rarely random,
In a time of need this girl it deftly summoned,
The world she knew requested to abandon
To fast become a Monarch worldly wise and seasoned.

She heard the call and from it she did not shrink,
Swearing to reign with wisdom and intent,
To her dying day to be that constant link
A caring hand, a guiding light, until her flame was spent.

Seventy summers so very fast went by,
Her presence always at our side,
Now she's gone and with Angels does she lie
Her soul at rest gently departed on an ebbing tide.

We will miss her, and yet in our hearts does she remain,
Memories of a truly special woman and a Queen,
Forever shall we the knowledge of her deeds retain,
History the judge of how truly special she has been.

Premium Member My Foolish Heart

My foolish heart’s nonjudgmental
Quick to forgive, kind and gentle
Discerns truth by spherical sight
Touch tender, embrace parental

Gripped in rapture of bliss delight
My heart’s aglow by day and night
Joy it’s sole theme, in this life dream
Sharing with all, God’s love and light

Not worldly wise, hatches no scheme
Currents sublime, within form stream
Mind of my heart, dwells in the void
Knowing life not quite, as does seem

Foolish heart, pure and unalloyed
Sans love, no vibration employed
Transmutes to become a bliss mist
False ego life, long since destroyed

Radiant heart and unclenched fist
Oft deceived, for does not resist
Oozing compassion at all times
In God trusts and that’s it’s life gist
