Long ago and far away
We never thought we’d reach today

Living long we never dreamed
Could ever be as we had deemed

But here we stand hand-in-hand
It’s nothing like we might have planned

Back then we’d not conceived
Things of today could be believed.

Tomorrow brings more wonderment
Things of which we have no hint

Sadly we won’t be allowed
To have our minds

The Wicked Wonderment of We

Eyes of black - Heart of cold
He was the missing piece of my soul
He entered my world dressed in leather and lookin' mean
He was a delicious scream within' a dream
The Nevermore of Forevermore - a cut that never bleeds
He was it - a renegade stallion - menacing and powerful
Mystical and magnificent
Just the sight of him

A Monet

A crooked cobblestone street of windows
A maze of windows - creating a mournful meandering mirror
Watching, waiting, and wishing to be magical and magnificent
The brilliance of becoming something more
And as misty darkness undressed the Day
As luck would have it - wish granted, and it was a Monet.

Wonderment at existence

Wonderment at existence ™

With my scrunched 
and bushy furrowed brow
I often ponder 
the precise circumstances 
that any thing to be born
tracing back lineage of self 
or arbitrary individual 
unpredictable as the dow
reckoning a series of events 
sustained life similar 

to sowing seed of corn
ruminating fragile nascent organism 
at the mercy of fate flourished and how
taxing

under Capricorn sign in general,
and January 13th in particular
who dons online personage
with custom (think 
swiftly tailored harried styled) 
made poetic raiment cloak.

tracing back lineage

The Wonderer

Just over the next mountain I journey
past the horizon of my history-
going past that which I have known
where knowledge lies in the next sudden sunrise
to follow the next bright illuminating moment
harnessing an untouched, untrampled day
bringing breathlessness in stirring breezes 
of new beginnings blowing across
my epiphany of exploration and discovery
 
Where my vision of unviolated beauty
pure

Mountain Wonderment

"mountain wonderment"

as she sings and breathes souls come alive
reflections shine while whispers echo
such wonder is understood when witnessed
such tranquillity is felt within her arms

seriously glorious is what lies true
assembled for mankind for me and you

paths of openness fill oxygen and color
would it be mighty hills that stand
could it be rolling streams that mirror
or the sun

Wonderment

Silence foiled by noise,
upsetting our poise,
unless nonchalance 
be our playful stance.

We cannot rescind
sudden gust of wind,
so welcome surprise ~
let wonder arise.

Astonishment and Wonderment

To feel wonder arise,
in carefree, vibrant dance,
our void-centric presence
surrenders to the flow,
brought forth in innocence.

To feel wonder arise,
filling us with rapture,
we embrace the thunder,
humming, strumming, rumbling,

Childlike Wonderment

we 
perceive,
colouring
the cognition,
interpreting it
as of the convenience 
of our mind body combine,
reaffirming narrow thinking,
thus self-imprisoning self therein,
until we choose to dwell in cessation.

if only each time, be like the first time,
feeling each life pulse in wonderment,
delighting in offered surprise,
whilst resting our lower mind,
we embrace and release
flow of life with ease,
free and unbound,
our presence,
full of
joy.

as love canters
ignition restarts

soma we savour
to hearts content

Throb of silence
one hand clapping
yawn in innocence 
electricity vivifying

Ceasing to resist
in total surrender
we as a bliss mist
