In the eternal night, where stars weep tears of dimmed light

In the eternal night, where stars weep tears of dimmed light,
I lose myself in thoughts flowing like an underground river, unseen, aimless,
Reflecting the shadows of the eternal search, among spirals of time and dream,
In the silent dance of silence, which envelops the soul like a veil of abyss.
Under the boundless sky, where winds whisper forgotten

Firemen Weep

                   Dry fuel in the bush
                allows fast fires to burn
           

I weep for me

I loathe what I have become
Things I tacitly permissed
Weigh me down with water
Shameful of my tears

That I am thin of heart and humour
Quick to temper now
Hard and dark, where once 
Was soft and light

It is me whose hands are bloodied
I held the dagger and carved
Into myself for attention
Now I weep for me

FALLEN SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF THE SOIL

Weep Africa, weep on.
The battle with death is one we dare not to fight,
For the call from the great beyond is outside the scope of our existence.
Just as our known hero Ngugi Wa Thiong'o has fallen,
Like countless unknown heroes forgotten to time,
We shall all follow this path of no return one by one.

Under the infinite sky, where stars weep their light like crystal tears,
My thoughts weave into a silent dance, like a whisper of wind on leaves,
And I lean towards the heavy earth of unknown sufferings,
Where the tear of a hungry child weighs more than all the rains in the world.

The sky shows no concern or grace,
