Firemen Weep

                   Dry fuel in the bush
                allows fast fires to burn
                    reduction too late
             while the country is burning
             as we pray for rain, tears fall.

                 with precious lives lost
            families are then shattered~
                    firemen all weep.

This is hard to watch on TV, I can't imagine the pressure upon the firemen nor on those families who have lost everything.
