Ye Dard-e-be-dawa Hai Aur Main Hoon

ye dard-e-be-dawa hai aur main hoon
magar ye dil-kusha hai aur main hoon

museebat aur lambi zindagaani
buzurgon kii dua hai aur main hoon

dayaar-e-ishq mein hoon aur labon par
tera hi tazkira hai aur main hoon

muqaddar ne nigaahen fer li hain
dukhon ka silsila hai aur main hoon

udhar to naam tera chal raha hai
idhar zikr-e-wafa hai aur main hoon

ghazal likhne chala furqat pe apni
radif-o-qaafiya hai aur main hoon

sunaau ehtishaam apni kahaani
yahan bas aaina hai aur main hoon

Disgraced Love

It's disgraceful, the way you call it love,
The look you give me when It's not my face you hope to look at.

Petals, you name them after me, scatter them on the ground.
Be honest, was it my name, do you know for a fact?

These sonnets you write for me,
Never was I the muse.
Perhaps you just like sonnets too much.
Perhaps someone else was your prose.

It's disgraceful, the way you call it love.
People don't have a heart anymore, once they give it away,
Is that why my gift was an empty box?

Yeh ishq ki tauheen hai,
Hum iss tarah na dekha karo.

Jo phool humare naam nahi kar sakte,
Hum par is tarah faika na karo.

Agar yeh lafz likhte nhi humare liye,
To aise muft mein mushayra na karo,

Yeh ishq ki tauheen hai,
Kisi aur ka dil humein diya na karo.

Long ago
a year or so
I received accolades a plenty
I won this, and I won that
I was on top of it all
I was almost the whole shebang
I was important
I was all about me
I pandered and pounded
I wanted attention and I won
I was sad, when my cheating was undone

Caught with the red herring deep in my mouth
I left to sulk a bit and have a wee pout
then I figured out after I was caught
there was a way to still receive
the praise I so sought
once a month
that's how she works
post only then
the egoists trophy is my new perk

Wo Kahti Hai

Hamary bary my zamana baty karta hai
Bola do hum ko wo kahti hai
Nahi chahti k badnam ho donu Zamany my
Ab tor do yah rishta Wo kahti hai
Na milay ga koi dunya mu tyry jysa
Rakho gi hamysha yad tum ko wo kahti hai
Dyty howy khatt wo ro rahi thi
Yad kar k tumhy muskaraw gi wo kahti hai
Khatt b ro raha tha lafzoo ko dakh kar
Us k akhar my sada muskaraw wo kahti hai

Ab is zindagi ka my kya karo

Marny ka sochu to AMAR us ke ik bat yad ati hai
Jina sirf myry lia wo kahti hai

Shab-E-Intezaar

Ghum-e-aarzoo dil se, kabhi to rukhsat hogi
Kabhi to sahar hoga, shab-e-intezaar guzaregi |

Palkon me jiske, simat ti ho ghataein
Saawan pe bhi uska hi, ikhtiyaar hoga |
Kab tak rahe viraan, dil-e-anjuman aakhir
Kabhi to bahar chupke se, is or bhi badhegi ||

Guzarte waqt ke saye, kuch bechainiyan hongi
Betaab dhadkano ko, mera intezaar hoga |
Kab tak khafaa rahegi, wo shokh nazar aakhir
Kabhi to dast-e-dil se, shabaa pyar ki uthegi ||

Is umeed par chale, har sham meri sansein
Kal ke ujale shaayad, milne ki ghadi hogi |
Andhere me ghira main, sochta hoon ye har waqt
Hogi raat ye badi, ya meri umra badi hogi ||

We Lost More Than a Dad

We lost more than just a Dad that day
We lost half of how we came to be
We lost we four girls first love
We lost our Best Friend

We lost more than just a Dad that day
Our Mom lost her Soul Mate, Her other half
Our children lost their Papaw
We lost our family’s foundation
We lost the glue that held us together

We lost more than just a Dad that day
We lost the Strongest man we ever knew
We lost the man we looked up too
We lost we four girls Teacher of many things

We lost more than just a Dad that day
We four girls lost our Hero
We lost some of our Light
We lost part of our Heart
We lost part of our Soul

We lost more than just a Dad that day
We lost some of our Courage
We lost some of our Strength
We lost some of our will to fight back
We lost some of our will to carry on
We four girls lost more than a Dad
We lost more than just a Dad that day

I Need Your Help Daddy

I’m tired
I’m Physically and Emotionally tired
I don’t want to be the strong one anymore
I can’t this time
I don’t know what to do Daddy
I need your help down here

I can’t get back in control of my emotions
I’m having a hard time dealing with your absence
I’m having a hard time standing by myself
I need your help Daddy

I’m broken and lost without you Daddy
I need your will to want to carry on
I need your strength to over come this
I need your strength to stay standing
Your courage to fight back again
I need your help

Please Daddy I’m at a loss
How am I suppose to do this
I need your guidance
I need you to guide me back
To whom I was before
I need your help Daddy
I need your help

Mushkil Main Bohat Hoon Zara Jeena Tu Sikha Do

Chahat main sambhlnay ka karina to sikha do,
Mushkil main bohat hoon zara jeena to sikha do,

Kiyoun chand say chehray pay baysakoni ki fiza hai
Ankhoon main chupi pyaas ko peena to sikha do,

Main sham dhalay aoon darwazay ko khula rakhna,
Dahleez pay bhi shama ko pighalna to sikha do,

Zakhmoon pe marham rakh ky kuch der to behlao,
Aur daman main howay chhedo’n* ko sena to sikha do..

No One

Silent screams no one hears
Tired eyes filled with tears
Gut wrenching heartache no one feels
Emotions dark enough to kill
Mental exhaustion no one sees
Strong enough it hurts to breathe
An answer seekin no one speaks
A language spoken without speech

Black Is the Night

~Black Is The Night~
Black is the night, and I see a lot of it right now
I sometimes watch the dawn, the sunrise is a Wow!
The dark, when it changes, to a wondrous golden glow
Revealing a new day, rising over the distant hill brow.

Happy I am to watch, this daily wondrous sight
The magic of the moment, when darkness turns to light
At first it’s hard to discern, the twilight of the dawn.
Then as the sun rises, the darkness it does smite.

Sad as the dawn departs, the rain clouds gather again
When will it give us a break it’s just going to continue to rain?
The birds don’t bother to sing this dawn, they are all fed up and so forlorn
We are happy to become sun-worshipers now, and long may it reign.

Premium MemberLight of Day

Back rubs are given, pills have been handed out,
Patients settled, some won’t sleep, I have no doubt,
Fear paralyzing their being when darkness falls,
If they close their eyes, will night terrors sprout.

Night lights shed a little peace over their bed,
The medication eases the pain or so they’ve said,
Someone to sit by their side would ease the fear,
They worry, wanting to awake, not ending up dead.

For they know that death will come, it’s not far off,
They work to breathe, chest heavy, the rattled cough,
Sunlight drifts in the window, another day, more life,
Eyes slowly open, blackness gone, at death they scoff.

Premium MemberRoar of the Cats

In distant jungles in the dead of night
Lions and hyenas are apt to fight
Often fighting over common food source
Outnumbered lions suffer nasty bites

They will often times fight from sun to sun
but the battle is never really won
It's a constant war between the two
Death come to those who aren't top gun

As a lioness sounds a distress call
Hyenas circle her, twenty in all
This conflict may result in her demise
Deafening roars rattles trees as leaves fall

Two huge lions come to settle the score
The battles rages with lots of blood and gore
Hyenas run away to lick their wounds
The jungle echoes as the victors roar

Night-Dark-Black-Happy-Sad

Behold the NIGHT of dread is upon us
No one knows the route of this scary bus
The thing that’s evident there is evil
Some are dragged on some went without a fuss

DARK are the insides scary forms around
Each window closed to contain all the sound
There will be screaming and rackling shackles
Attempts at escape the ones that are bound

BLACK shrouded figures walk from seat to seat
Making sure hands are tied shackles on feet
Told all to relax don’t make things harder
They will be serving a sweetened blood treat

The only ones HAPPY on this blood hunt
Are the capturers that speaks with a grunt
They laugh and tease making everyone sweat
Wondering what happens over the mount

The feeling of gloom makes the captured SAD
To be captured and herded made them mad
They hollered so loud police came on board
And rescued them all o boy were they glad
