Roar of the Cats
In distant jungles in the dead of night
Lions and hyenas are apt to fight
Often fighting over common food source
Outnumbered lions suffer nasty bites
They will often times fight from sun to sun
but the battle is never really won
It's a constant war between the two
Death come to those who aren't top gun
As a lioness sounds a distress call
Hyenas circle her, twenty in all
This conflict may result in her demise
Deafening roars rattles trees as leaves fall
Two huge lions come to settle the score
The battles rages with lots of blood and gore
Hyenas run away to lick their wounds
The jungle echoes as the victors roar
