I underwent osmosis
to get rid of halitosis
Developed a psychosis
frightening neurosis
Signed up for group-hypnosis
just got a diagnosis
Downing meds with garlic juice
made my breath atrocious

I have found the fullness of brokenness in one person,
He is Jesus, the Christ, born to dwell with human beings;
For no sin of his, like a lamb, I found his cause worsen,
Scourged; thorn-crowned; spit upon; underwent such menial things...!
Didn't, as though a wonder, kings visit him, at his birth?
Why so soon, yet, the scenes changed, and dominions sought his end?
If truth, except for parrots, is not allowed on this Earth,
Incarnation is nothing but a note by Yahweh sent...!
Neither Romans nor the Jews could ever his name erase,
Unabandoned truth stood firm; this was, hence, he rose again;
The body was broken and blood was shed; in him was grace,
This was why, beyond all norms, the victory he could gain...!
Thank you, Jesus, for teaching me to be truly broken,
My flesh and blood is yours as my reverential token...!!!

Honored Bread (3/6/23)
O honored bread
‘Pon table, blessed
To become the Christ
Who withstood our test
In moment’s word
Our Lord, confessed
Priest’s own hand
Holds belov’d Guest
Once but mere bread
From earthen tomb
Hail we, our King
From Heaven’s womb
O Bread of Life
Our dear Groom
You cause our hearts
To make You room
Once but mere bread
Which God has blessed
You’re now the Christ
Underwent our test
In moment’s word
Who we confessed
By High Priest’s will
Become beloved Guest

one day, In the late dark night,
Where things were out of sight,
A heavy heart with lots of dream,
Was sitting under the night-lamp's beam,
With her deep inner voice;
Life is always a roller-coaster ride,
Face it with a positive side.
Her mother lost all her memory,
Her father and brother underwent surgery,
Back to back hardships on her way,
She struggled a lot to overcome the god's play,
With her deep inner voice;
Life is always a roller-coaster ride,
Face it with a positive side.
Though, she struggled a lot,
She didn't give up her positive thought,
Carrying her family,love and dream,
Her days were fleeting by trusting the supreme,
With her deep inner voice;
Life is always a roller-coaster ride,
Face it with a positive side.

Big Ben is a clock tower
Now and then it needs winding up,
so up he goes to the clock
a little man with a big key.
In 2013 Ben underwent a sex change
he is now called the 'Elizabeth Tower'
it's a cultural transgender Icon now.
When the little man winds her up
she goes off.
Sex is timeless.

Mother
Right on the day you appear she is overwhelmed,
With all the emotions which are highly held.
Every moment you are in her thought.
As she handles you, all her love pours out.
With thousands of dreams in her mind,
She is all set, to add to the mankind.
All the strains of the world she bears,
No matter what may, and who cares.
The day you set your feet on this wonderland,
Is a day, her soul experiences a Fiesta, so grand.
All the pain she underwent seems to have been erased.
Next moment, her mind is all set, thinking how you are to be raised.
Her next task is to add colours to your being,
To transform you into a super human being
Tremendous pain though she bears,
Always a million dollar smile she wears.
All the skills of life she tries to instill.
Though many seem harsh and against her will.
She doesn't mind even being despised.
As she knows they are of, much value and priced.
No matter in life however big you may grow,
Remember! Mother is the one to whom you should always bow.

I've not, in truth, knowing the late Ms. Carolyn,
It might be owing I am quite late to come in;
It's when I know about her from you, dear masters,
And learn you've found in her love's true lasting treasures;
Wildfire of adore, I feel, burning in! Spreading!
As the feelings underwent by, you, tears-shedding!
=====
===
Understand, please, my forms are betraying me here,
I've forgotten all styles taught by you to endear!
See how the very thought of death makes me forget,
Each feeling I've been treasuring in my sachet!
=====
===
Sentiments that you've been sharing of her sweetly,
Indeed, you've been loving her forever fondly!
It's this makes my mad mind to tell you so sternly,
Death has succeeded in making you feel lowly!
=====
===
Carolyn is not dead! She's caravanning! Feel!
She's researching on grave and coffin, with great zeal!
When she's out, kindly, convey my wishes to her!
Ask her to compose me, rhyme on her study rare!

God sent me an angel,
Stronger than a Power Ranger.
Love, her only weapon,
Greater than that of Gods of Heaven.
The hurdles she underwent,
Were worse than a car's dent.
The sleepless nights she spent,
I cannot repay as rent.
Her watchful eyes were my only security,
Which protected me from all impurity.
The encouragement that she gave,
Made me very brave.
She fought with all her might,
And showed me how to do things right.
I offer this to her,
To one and only, MY MOTHER...

Held close to the heart this metal bar,
Over time underwent ultimate change.
With thoughts and prayers reached the outraged range,
In sick minds and in wrong hands - bizarre.

When I was young there were many joys of Christmas and one of the biggest joys for me was opening up my presents I found underneath our Christmas tree.
I’d hold the present in my hand with a smile a mile wide, then rip the wrapping paper off to see what was inside.
When I grew a little older my focus shifted off of me and I found my joy in the presents for my family underneath our Christmas tree.
I’d see them hold their presents in their hands with smiles a mile wide then watch them rip the wrapping paper off to see what was inside.
When I grew a little older still…my focus underwent another shift for when it came to Christmas every year I wished for but one gift.
It wasn’t the presents I’d give my family or the presents they’d give to me…it was the presence of my family around our Christmas tree.
Children grow, they move away…that is what families do and it gets harder and harder every year for my one wish to come true.
But when it does you can see me all night with a smile a mile wide…having opened up my present to find my family inside.

AMMA (Mother)
Amma, when you were with me,
I did not know your value.
Only when you left me,
Did I realise your greatness.
I remember all what you did,
All the sufferings you underwent.
Your never-ending care,
Your honesty and hard work.
Your sleepless nights,
During my days of sickness,
Your sacrificial deeds and struggles,
Your enduring patience.
My exam days were like yours,
Midnight or break of day,
You were there to support me,
Encouraging me to persevere!
Your ways were Simple, Humble,
God- fearing steps taken by you,
Will never be forgotten,
Guiding light of my life!
Above everything else, you taught me,
The power of the Almighty God,
Thanks for enriching my life in a myriad ways,
I am blessed to call you ‘Mother ‘
(Amma means ‘Mother’ in Tamil)

Things that are on my mind . . . .
Dont really matter much . . . .
Dont matter much, really . . .
I understand that my thoughts are just silly . . .
I've come to an understanding that . . .
Some things I can choose and other things I cant . . .
Certain things I'm lucky enough to have a say . . . .
everything else does not matter, it's not I'm my control anyway . . . .
The things I felt were important . . . .
Have proven to me that they aren't meant . . . .
Find myself on the other side of a traumatic event . . . .
Still obsorbing all of the things I underwent . . . .
I'm still thinking that soon I'll wake up . . . .
From this nightmare I'm dreaming . . .
Keep asking myself why I have not woken up screaming . . . . .

Half a decade ago today, Dad ceased to be alive.
Five years ago, Dad died at the age of sixty-five.
He was a hard worker, he could have outworked two twenty-year-olds.
When he went to the doctor, bad news was what he was destined to be told.
He was diagnosed with Leukemia and it caused distress.
Twenty months later, he succumbed to his terrible illness.
Two days before he died, he couldn't even respond when people talked to him.
Forty-eight hours later, he met a terrifying fate that was very grim.
He underwent Chemotherapy to temporarily survive.
Half a decade ago today, Dad ceased to be alive.
[Dedicated to Charles F. Johnson (1947-2013) who died on July 13, 2013.]

From God Needed Nourishment
From God needed enough nourishment;
Daily by Him much surgery underwent;
Quite a Guy;
On did rely;
From committing sin, He would prevent.

Within the hour of love a red poppy night
a warrior prepped for dawning flight
no bullets no musket to his flank
just memories of wartime- rank
settled in his aureole, the light;
no bullets no musket to his flank
just memories of wartime- rank
That final day the guards did still salute
dressed in uniform with lips of solid mute
they came to honor him the gent
who's trust they underwent
consentingly agreed a man of no refute;
within the hour of twilight God found his heart,
within the hour of love he got a fresh new start
No bullets, no musket to his flank....
