Rx for Halitosis

     I underwent osmosis
        to get rid of halitosis

    Developed a psychosis
        frightening neurosis

    Signed up for group-hypnosis
        just got a diagnosis

     Downing meds with garlic juice
        made my breath atrocious

Boy! Didn't yo Mama teach you any better? Orange juice! Not garlic juice! Or, if no oranges grow in your grove, boil some hibiscus and sniff steam up your nose!

The cure as bad as the illness. Very witty my friend. And true. The less we have to deal with doctors, the better. If I don't feel well, doctors are great at diagnosis, even if halitosis, then I go the route of homeopathy for self treatment when at all possible.

Oh, my gosh, Dean Martin celebrity roast just came on, roasting Bob Hope with Don Rickles, Angie Dickerson, Howard Cosell, Orson Wells, John Wayne, Dick Martin, Hubert Humphrey, Rich Little, Joey Bishop, Mohammad Ali, Tony Orlando.. . Wonder why they no longer seem old. I'm sure my Dad will walk in, sit down & ask me to turn it up a hair. HOW COOL. So, where am I? ~~~ I read your witty stinky poem, and I breathed laughter all over it! You so funny ... CayCay
