Truth And Justice Poems | Examples

Hoist With His Own Petard

He who disregards truth and justice
Will sooner or later go the whole hog;
His bestial appetites and habits,
His love of cruelty and power eventually will take over
Perhaps without him ever realizing the danger.
He is not only beyond the control of others
But beyond his own control.
He does no good ( like rainless clouds or fruitless trees,
Heaping abuse on anything he doesn't understand;
Spoiling the fellowship meals with his irreverent behavior.
He lives at the mercy of his brutish instincts,
Looking after Himself instead of caring for his brother.
Like storm, he leaves behind him shame and disgrace;
like the dirty foam left along the beach by the wild waves.
He's like stars that have wandered into outer space and give no light,
He grumbles about everything and have a huge chip on his shoulder.
He is one in reign,
A loud-mouthed show-off
Who flatters others for his own advantage
And give free reign to his evil desires.

Judge Tombrink: Just and Wise

Judge Tombrink, a mind so keen,
With wisdom vast and insight deep.
Integrity his unwavering guide,
In truth and justice, he takes pride.

A beacon of fairness, shining bright,
In his courtroom, all wrongs made right.
Uncorruptible heart, unyielding soul,
His judgments just, his gavel's toll.

Balancing the scales with care,
Every case he handles, rare.
No bias taints his noble creed,
In every verdict, he plants the seed.

With brilliance that lights up the day,
Judge Tombrink paves the righteous way.
In the halls of law, a beacon to see,
A symbol of justice and all to agree.

Premium Member Simplicity

Three forms of comparision in adjectives
As well as in life
Positive,comparative and superlative
And both comparative and superlative may fall out of simplicity
Sometimes we have to be simple and grateful to life
Greater expectation will require more wisdom, effort and perseverance
Which may go beyond our limited abilities
Moreover greed may lead us astray
Resulting in exhaustion and disappointment
Or repentance and penalty
If without much ability and wisdom
Better we pursue simplicity
Which may give us at least
Some gratefulness
Some satisfaction
Some happiness
And a less pressured life
Besides our limited ability and wisdom
Simplicity will only ask for truth and justice
Maybe for a simple mind and heart
Which resembles the chemical evolution in the origin of life
From simple to complex
A gift of the universe and the almighty god
A simple happiness free of evil and guilt will do

Premium Member Lady Justice

The lady is true and pure of heart.
She wears a dress of white,
Showing purity in her soul.
She is impartial and fair,
As she renders the truth and
Holds the scales of justice.
All look upon her relying on,
True judgment as she stands and,
Guides us to the truth in the courts.
No words are necessary,
As law becomes fact with the,
Citizens who render their verdict,
Lady Justice wields the sword,
That shall be swift and final,
As is the verdict.
She has been our symbol,
Of truth and justice throughout the world.
She stands with honor and glory,
In every country, in every court, and,
We truly rely on the premise of judgment.
In America she stands with the,
American flag that has given us,
Freedom, independence and glory.
One day I will stand,
Before her and the flag.
I as millions have asked her,
To give us justice.
We ask Lady justice to raise her sword and,
Look within her heart to seek the truth.

Premium Member A Life Full of Storms

A ping pong match
With two eyes fixing on or running after
A small ball
Which bounces up and down
Moves back and forth
Twists and turns
The mind sets a plot
Following the theory of physics
Then hand swings, bat hits
Smashing at different angles
Legs compromise
No hestitation
No carelessness
All cooperate to win
For prestige and fame
Life too is as tough as a match
Topsy-turvy and full of storms
But following a theory of truth and justice
Moral and conscience
For self esteem and dignity
Maybe to win a match indoor
Isn't as important as
To win a stormy life outdoor

Premium Member She Has Learned To Be Selfless

Her selflessness exquisitely expresses itself in a mystical way
With absence of arrogance, her decisions benefit the greater good.
She has survived abuse unknown and unrecognizable by thousands
Her loss of innocence is their gain,
She brings rainbows and unicorns to the summit.
She keeps her worries and fears away from the minds of the others.
Wanting them to relish in their innocence,
Not wanting to burden them in any way.
Her survival instincts are on ready alert.
She is wary of the disguised and the hidden.
Bringing truth and justice into the forefront.
Uplifting and adoring others.

Premium Member Reality

When the world doesn't satisfy you
You will dream of an idealistic and notional one
Some people dream of the outer space
Some people dream of a world after death, the heaven
And some people think of god's salvation
No doubt, the earth is a nice place to live
Although sometimes truth and justice is rare
But love and affection isn't lacking
But welfare isn't lacking
Oh, please just be grateful
A life and a soul is always given to you free

Premium Member Sensitivity and Life

Too sensitive will make life hard
Too ignorant will make life meaningless
Our five gifted senses
Do sense life and its essences
Because we're sensitive and we care
Sensitivity will bring us
Truth and justice
Prevention and salvation
Avoidance of errors, dangers and traps
A better life
A better ideology
A better affection and love
Lastly
A better world to live
For the next generation
Whom we love and care

Premium Member Low Profile

The oldies retreated from work
But not from killing time
Time allocated may be
As much as the upheaval of
Domestic, world affairs or politics
Although most of the time
They are boasting their present
Bragging their past
Blathering about dissatisfaction
Drivelling politics
They aren't retreating from the world
They are living amongst friends
Gossiping amongst them with low profile
But have once lived with history
But still having a vote in hand
And they will find the truth eventually
With the rest of the time
Before embarking on a journey of
Truth and justice
Which is nearer to god
Which will never be revealed easily

Premium Member Unpardonable Sin

I met you there again in the quiet calm
you appeared remorseful I must admit
after the infamous terrors you inflicted
the unpardonable manifested within

mine eyes my mental spiritual sphere
tampered with while the warm glow
of the holy spirit rose above my heart
I met you there again cold calamity

of destruction depicted so well behind
the scenes i witnessed you wither
crawling backwards arched back restless
panting capturing thought reliving painful

substances confusion and doubt the faithful
eagerly shattered by your cunny angst
I'd forgotten your wrath I'd bestowed
your energy finally shedding self craving

the glory of truth and justice devouring
fruits of the holy spirit fondly restoring
the mystery the life of man and spirit
within me as I awakened I am pardoned

Premium Member Conflict and Compromise

Somebody starts everything
As a conflict
And makes it a compromise
In front of bribery
Election canvassing
Demonstration or strike
A long way to fight indeed
For truth and justice
Which is already existed
Before we arrived at this world
Why

The Valley of Moral Decay

Deluge of valleys into lakes and seas
caused chaos as Noah and sons observe
man, plants and animals losing their ease.
God whose truth and justice struck a raw nerve,
when the mighty flood took its nasty curve.
The pagans who had laughed at Noah’s ark
met their death in dodging God’s clear benchmark.
Sovereign God offered mercy’s gangway
as builders preached clearly how to embark
grace in the Valley of Moral Decay.

Premium Member Modern Diplomacy

Those who confuse Shubert with Mendelsohn,
Most likely can’t tell Mozart from Hayden.
They wander through the world without their culture on,
And cat-call Aphrodite while fishing for Poseidon.
Conspiracy theories have them nervous as ferrets.
Academic credentials are considered demerits.
They huddle in militias where their rumors bare fangs.
In a world where truth and justice are fighting for air,
A diploma’s only value is the wall on which it hangs.
