Craven cupidity, contemptible crow
Your talking is squawking as black as your soul
If birds of a feather would gather your hem
A collection of seamstresses darker than them
Would weave from hole cloth a pattern of lies
From a harvest of calumny dark'ning the skies
Who rates this performance, whose benefit there
With bait this enormous just fit for a bear
Who else in the forest could relish this feast
Galumphing, triumphing, it must be a beast
Wallowing, swallowing, swampy at best
Content to recline there and dine on the rest
Immobile as a trophy, stuffed for display
On future repast, blackened feather filet
Blow hard and bellow with yellowing cries
Gather like fellows who feast on these lies
If chapels had been churches, your cathedral would loom
'stead of gathering shadows in this canyon of gloom
With your bins full of blight and your gather of smut
We hasten to bid you not good night but... what?
We wonder still under quick'ning despair
In search of escape, it must be here but... where?
There must be some light lest this darkness o'erwhelm
We must brave the night til the Good take the helm
Divorcing self from awful negatives
I step ahead, bouncing through God’s power
Gladly inspired with cheerful directives
To share love's bliss and peace of grace-shower.
Triumphing against selfishness-trial
Freeing from “me-I-mine” so prison-bound
To reach-out for others, sans betrayal
My heart sows goodness seeds on kindness-ground.
Persisting against vain personal gain
I join with fellows midst blest partnership
Prevailing against separation-pain
Creating new vibrant relationship.

From victory to victory
Our storyline
As we journey through life
But all glory
To our maker
Making us victorious
In all circumstances.
Glory to thy way maker
Always making a way
For us to be victorious
That's what he's best known for
Leading us to victory
Triumphing over all
That rises against us.
Grace and favor
He's always bestowed on us
Glory to our maker
For ease and effortlessness
All we get he gave
Without hesitating
Victoriously dominating all territory
Glory to our maker for he's our helper.

Flickering lamps,
a million tiny suns,
piercing the velvet night.
Crackling fireworks,
bursts of gold and crimson,
painting the air.
Sweet-smelling incense,
clouds of saffron and jasmine,
whispering ancient prayers.
Garlands of marigold,
a vibrant embrace,
around doorways, hearts.
Stories of Rama,
echoing through generations,
light triumphing over shadow.

blessing homes with prosperity.
Mahavira's Nirvana,

seeking inner light.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 of the King James Bible
Let's uplift one another with glad cheer
Prompted by the Lord toward kindness-gear
Around partnership, calling friends as dear.
Let’s spread uplifting bliss midst hope’s delight
With hearty laughter of jubilant sprite
Triumphing over woes, vanquishing fright.
Let’s uplift the hurting with heartfelt smile
Making our presence felt… not just a while
Since prayers do prop them in their trial.
Let’s share uplifting peace, marked by God’s grace
That whispers His mercy around warm embrace
Compassion-propelled to win in life’s race.
Let’s uplift our neighbors, reaching them out
Offering help that conquers painful pout
Through faith-blest kindness sans shadow of doubt.
Let’s continue in Christ’s uplifting love
As selfishness and greed … we get rid of
To enjoy blessings from heaven above.

In my safe fortress devoid of winter magic delight
my mind virtually explores its reality-wonders’ height…
Thus, with enthralling vicarious experience flight
I thank God* for freedom to venture beyond imagination sprite
…to plunge into coldness-thrill day and night
… to be enthralled awesomely without cough’s fright
charmed by snow’s immaculate sight
… to doze toward serene slumber midst fireplace so bright
along assailing below zero temperature with freezing blight…
Oh, I wish to wake up, settled comfortably alright
awed while vibrantly triumphing against chills’ fight
from dreaming about ice-sledding spree in my prayer-plight.

Surmounting feelings of woe and sorrow
She seeks the Saviour along hopeful glow
Striving to discard shroud wrapping her doubts
Surely showing triumph for tomorrow.
Having indeed conquered depression bouts
Her heart smites melancholy with praise-shouts
Holding on to Christ’s assurance of grace
Hoisted for divine freedom from guilt-clouts.
Grateful to God for peace midst gloomy race
Gladly, faith propels her strongly to face
Grim realities that shatter great dream
Guarded against pangs of torturous space.
Winning now against grievous wistful scream
Will of hers trusts the Lord for service-beam
Watchfully reaching-out to ease pain’s blow
Withdrawn not, but wafting wise self-esteem.
That's for you A Candidate:
Often glancing at The Date
And on that day Exact Time,
Sometimes jolted by clock's chime
For the still much unprepared
With weakness to be soon bared...
That's for you The Candidate:
Always the first at the gate,
Himself long begun to prime;
To have not done so a crime.
Not a nice story "Exams hard!"
For election "Not on guard"
That's for us A candidate:
One tests and elections rate;
With defeat mourns each spent dime;
Lips of one who'd rushed down lime
But tomorrow plays same card,
Triumphing invites a Bard.
Today, we greet each other
with goodness-bliss
delighting everyone
midst peace and grace
around friendship bond
marked by care
of hearty laughter
bursting hope along exuberance
now wafting brightly
blessings from God.
Triumphing serenely
over pressuring woes
we cheer each other
to surmount pain
ascending, soaring by faith
toward fulfillment peak
lovingly reaching-out
with prayer and compassion
constantly thanking* the Lord
Who reigns supreme.
