Premium Member Stoicism as Way of Life

Purposeful thought leaders, empowering intellect they reign,
In disposition phlegmatic, indifferent to pleasure or pain,
Rejecting emotions vain, impassive within taciturn domain,
Questing for mindful contentment, virtues of reason ordain.

Missives tolling of rectitude, emanate from heart and mind,
Guiding sanctity of awareness, wisdom virtuous aligned,
Maximizing positive thoughts, amplifying tendencies kind,
Of knowledge and understanding, spirits tranquil designed.

Freeing from distress, achieving balance in purity sublime,
Reverberating in noble song of life, echoing through time,
Strumming happiness, where refrain of reason is prime,
Where goodwill of speech, and actions benevolent rhyme.

Enlightened people find harmony in realms of self-control
Overcoming disturbances that in silhouettes of past troll,
Vying aspirations of tomorrow, enamored in sanctity of soul,
Consciously shedding negativity, passions imprudent extol.

Volatility of perturbed life calms, embracing thoughts divine,
As sapient ways of erudite mind, on arc of cognition shine,
Triumphing over negative vibes as dissonant distractions decline
When goals of reason and acts of virtue inextricably entwine.

Premium Member Good Bye, Christmas Mourning

Never could Christmas mourning grip my heart
Since Christ in His birth* sealed me by His love
Granting me eternal life thru faith-start
With blessings and peace from heaven above.

Christmas mourning has been vanquished by God
When He filled with grace my futility
That was caused by materialism’s nod
Of discontentment-greed’s tenacity.

I’ll do my part to shut Christmas mourning
By spreading the Lord’s mercy everyday
Conscious that sharing is pain-lessening
And caring cheers others along hope’s ray.

Today, I bid Christmas mourning good bye
Greeting each one by the Saviour’s goodness
I’ll give gifts, devoid of selfishness’ sigh
Triumphing in His mighty joyfulness.

Poetry Poem Poets For Kristin Reynolds and Dion Bess

Pain in the prophecy of wings through sultry sky
Orchestrating vision, love, destiny
Emancipating the tongue to tattle tales taloned with grief
Triumphing in truth to tumult another joy
Reel all poets in, glistening on a silver sliver of string
Yearning to for a final travail, immortality on wing.

Please God, tonight, dry her tears
Oyster her heart in your love
Eternal comforter of cares
Mystic center of the universe, a dove

Perpetual are music mustering our minds to sing
Overtones from the litany of emotions
Easeless wonder, sacrifice, oblation, offering
Tremulous thunder eastering devotions
Sweetly from the ragged anthems of our gift.

??Wisdom of Solomon 13:11 KJVAAE??
[11]  Now a carpenter that felleth timber, after he hath sawn down a tree meet for the purpose, and taken off all the bark skilfully round about, and hath wrought it handsomely, and made a vessel thereof fit for the service of man's life;

??Ecclesiasticus 38:27 KJVAAE??
[27] So every carpenter and workmaster, that laboreth night and day: and they that cut and grave seals, and are diligent to make great variety, and give themselves to counterfeit imagery, and watch to finish a work:

??Isaiah 41:7 KJVAAE??
[7] So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the soldering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved.

??Isaiah 44:13 KJVAAE??
[13] The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.

??Matthew 13:55 KJVAAE??
[55] Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?

??Colossians 2:14-15 KJVAAE??

Premium Member Stepping Ahead After Divorce

Divorcing self from awful negatives
I step ahead, bouncing through God’s power
Gladly inspired with cheerful directives
To share love's bliss and peace of grace-shower.

Triumphing against selfishness-trial
Freeing from “me-I-mine” so prison-bound
To reach-out for others, sans betrayal
My heart sows goodness seeds on kindness-ground.

Persisting against vain personal gain
I join with fellows midst blest partnership
Prevailing against separation-pain
Creating new vibrant relationship.

Premium Member PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR HE IS THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE

November 8 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on John 11-12

Key Verse – John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.

PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR HE IS
THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE

Praise be to God for He is the resurrection and the life:
Saving our souls with His security-seal
Sanctifying our spirits along His statute-standard
Satisfying our service by His sufficient supply-support
Sustaining our stewardship upon His Scripture-statutes
Strengthening our supplication through His steadfastness

John 12:7-8 Praise be to the Lord for
teaching us to have Him always:
Trusting Him amidst crises
Thanking Him for His compassion
Toiling for Him despite challenges
Triumphing in His calling and caring
Treading upon His championship charge

John 12:46 Praise be to the Saviour
for being our light against:
Zeal where greatness pretends
Zenith where godlessness prevails
Zones where gloominess pervades
Zooms where goodness is perverted
Zest where greediness against grace pesters. Amen!

Premium Member WINTER WONDERS

In my safe fortress devoid of winter magic delight
my mind virtually explores its reality-wonders’ height…

Thus, with enthralling vicarious experience flight
I thank God* for freedom to venture beyond imagination sprite
…to plunge into coldness-thrill day and night
… to be enthralled awesomely without cough’s fright
charmed by snow’s immaculate sight
… to doze toward serene slumber midst fireplace so bright
along assailing below zero temperature with freezing blight…

Oh, I wish to wake up, settled comfortably alright
awed while vibrantly triumphing against chills’ fight
from dreaming about ice-sledding spree in my prayer-plight.

*1Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Premium Member Fleas

Two fleas are jumpig
Onboard of Noah’s Ark
For warm nest looking

Two fleas are dreaming
Onboard of Noah’s Ark
A warm nest enjoying

Two fleas are arriving
Onboard of Noah’s Ark
At Ararat’s mountain.

Their trip is ending
Onboard of Noah’s Ark
And starts a novel jumping

Millions of fleas are wandering
Outside of Noah’s Ark
The whole word invading.

Millions of dogs are scratching
The fleas of Noah’s Ark
They are hardly suffering.

Fleas eggs are laying
For glory of Noah’s Ark
And life is triumphing.

Destiny's Perch

In the near future, I am going to add it all up into one big sum.
In the meantime, I am going to gather and collect my own space.
I will sift through seeds or weeds and present an enormous case.
But for sure I will hold onto every single yellow chrysanthemum.

In the near future, I am going to roll it all up sealing it by my thumb.
In the meantime, I am going to sit here with every turned about face.
I will drift through time rewinding the hands back to a God of Grace.
But for sure I will give the world a place my heart is triumphing from.

Quickly, I will come to you,
And instantly I will be gone.
But injustice shall never do.
Nor shall a lie be my spawn.

Or at the least not on my expedient silver polished dime,
And certainly not while sitting on destiny’s perch in time!

I Swear

Don't ask your heart,
Don't blame it,
Don't chastise your heart,
Don't scorch it,
Make yourself assured
You grasped a true love,
That would never short,
Because I made it as hard love.

I will fill each hole of your heart
To have it eternally to my heart
I swear to my vains and pains,
I will gain the rains of love
Like grains to my brains.
The world was made for love
In animals we have doves
They love themselves without rivalry
That's why they live gourdly.
Don't ask a gourmet about Garri

I swear by the moon and the stars
That live in your steeped heart.
I swear by the love that hankers
To instil in your heart,
I swear by the wisp grins
Of your soft swathed chins
That were dabbed by my lips
I will love your lilac lips.

I will miss your smile,
You are always as my smile.
I will never forget your face,
You are always my pace,
No girl is so worthy in my space,
You are a buttress of my smile
My heart stayed as a wimp
In your love; it can't swim
Your blood is my heart's pool
Your love is much full

I swear by your breathes
That are under my heart's beneath
I swear by your heart's blood
That sprints like a heavy flood
I swear by your eye lashes
That are so hot like high school's lashes
I swear by your trachea's sighs
That allows sweet sighs
To overflow as my heart's sighs,
I will love thee as mine,
Because you're always in my mind.

Sweet love never dies
Sweet love always shines
Sweet love is always my tea
You're a sugar in my tea
By which it tastes thee

Your fragrance fills the atmosphere,
Your sweats dissolve the hydrosphere
Your skin that sways fluently
And the muscles that internally
Hoarded around your bones,
And your bloods within your bones,
I will never forget your love.

It is a long and narrow poem
That goes with touching tones
Your message is a poem
That chirps a melodious tones
Your steps always sound
In my heart's lounge
I will be triumphing your name
I will be caring your name
I will be in your name's fame
Your name will be a game
That I will be hunting as a game
You are frames that frame
My body like a door frame

Your heart will be a legitimate
I'll never be something intimidate
Only those that are magnates
In love will be magnates
That will purchase your heart's magnets
I have a good chiaroscuro
That will let me get a Goro.

Triumph At the Cross

Triumph At the Cross

“ 15And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. ” Col 2:15 NIV

Christ triumphed over Satan
And his unholy alliance;
Made a public spectacle of evil
In His sacrifice of compliance.
Satan was stripped of his power;
His authority lost forever.
Christ in His obedience
Became our High Priest of favor.

Although it seemed all was lost
To His disciples and followers alike,
Christ’s Triumph At The Cross
Began with each cruel strike.
He was beaten for our healing,
His blood spilt for our redemption—
The Son of the Most High,
Made responsible for all creation.

The Triumph At the Cross
Was not what it appeared.
Failure to the world
Was victory veneered.
On the resurrection morning,
Christ’s victory was made known.
Demons watching His body,
In great fear of God had flown.

Although Christ had been tempted,
Not once did He sin.
His obedient life and resultant death—
Ensured the Victor to win.
Triumph At the Cross
Rendered Satan a banished foe.
To the powers of evil,
This was a mighty blow.

Mild Hysteria From Dystopia

Without further ado

which found me to rue
what comprises reality to be true
that all humans originated from the primate zoo.

thick mass of cremated ashes
across rubble strewn,

The devil made mince meat
as like one huge lumbering ogre

rolled up into one
not so jolly green giant did slay
good will to all men,
and spat out pox with an emphatic nay
triumphing over godly salvation
using eponymous accursed pitchfork
made merry and rolled in the hay

simultaneously sneering out in delight
at wanton death and decay
whereby civilization forever mutilated

where once proud arm strong spikes radiated
now sundered in total chaotic disarray!

Premium Member Dread of Separation

Facing struggles of separation anxiety
such darkness midst anguish I felt with certainty
yet due to childhood’s knowledge-obscurity
I could not fathom its reality.

I dreaded being far from my mother and her presence
God’s love I delighted in through her care’s iridescence
so when she announced about her would-be absence
torturous separation-despair gripped my innocence.

Years later, Mom brought me to a campus’ dormitory
which would be my home – away from relatives’ territory
parting from Mom made me weary of homesickness-worry
but God’s grace healed my culture shock-caused injury.

The greatest blow of separation-distress* hit my heart
when Mother’s last breath set me from her apart
were it not for God’s comfort, I could be paralyzed by grief-dart
making me agonize painfully … groping on how to start.

I thank God for making me move on with Mom’s sweet memories
while savoring the joy of her inspiring victories
by faith, I know that Mom now is triumphing over miseries…
we’ll be reunited to praise the Lord forever; enjoying Bible stories.

*Psalm 120:1 In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.
