My Song

21 Dec 2022 11:53 AM
My song is not on the top 40 list
My song does not ring in everyones head and linger on their lips

My song does not quite make sense or have a moral base
It does not inspire or flow with beauty or amazing grace

It is just the steady beat of a melody that drifts upon the wind
Twisting winding making its way through every turn and bend

Some folks know it and it breaks their hearts
Other folks ignore it as it slowly falls apart

Some are greatful to have heard it and compare it to their own
Some get angry when they hear it and quickly rush for home

Most have never heard it and probably never will
But there is one who knows it by heart and sings it from the hills

He knew it before it was thought of and watches as its sang
He knows its good and sour notes its soft trebles and bass drum bangs

And he loves it more and more as its lyrics grows
He is the saviour He is the God He is the best friend to know

Jesus loves this song of mine no matter what others say
And when it is faded and forgoten by the world in His heart it will continue to play.

Pacification Through Justification

When all your plans collapse
Please check for any lapse
Only when you analyze
You can know where lie lies

It is not easy to win easily
Even if we work very busily
We may put the best toil
Still, fate may try to spoil

We may try with real hope
With problems we may cope
In spite of it if we badly lose
Attempting is really of no use

Your hard-work may not fetch
Real success by removing hitch
Instead it may shower troubles
And your agony greatly trebles

Terrible loss may shatter guts
And destroy completely wits
You may be attacked by defeat
Stopping your great golden feat

Thousand times you may try
And decide never at all to cry
Still will come disgrace to kick
Worry formed may be thick

With no scope you may linger
And go weaker, never stronger
Losing the appetite to pursue
As you have lost in every issue

Still, please believe in your capacity
And maintain your unique equanimity
This is the best method to survive
Surely time will rescue and revive

Always God will not test your life
He will end the present strife
Confidently carry on my friend
To all your duties, kindly attend.

The Sky and Us

I love the waves
I love the sun diving in their womb
I love its reflection glistening in crests and troughs
I love the firmament painted in hues no hand can ever match
I love how they come to me
how they weep with me
laugh with me
and listen to me.
And I, them.

Today I am naked under this sky
And amidst these waves
There is something so beautiful
About this vulnerability
Touching that of hundreds before me
And that of hundreds who are to arrive—
Those who saw and will see this sky
In hues I can never imagine;
Those who listened and will listen
To trebles out of my ear.

There is something so beautiful
About how despite our skies never meeting
We meet here today
Bathing ourselves away in these waves
Under this sky
Naked
And unfiltered.

Premium MemberThe Call of the Nightingale

The forlorn valley seems to beckon me,
Only one cottage midst so many trees,
So many shrubs where nightingales are wont
To find repose in any place they please.

Few are those that visit the bleak, sad vale,
And hear the sweet song of the nightingales,
Their trebles with high and low crescendos.
I wonder what really are their tales.

Above many flowers they fly in glee,
Drink from sweet flowing water of a rill,
Enchant their love mates with melodies spree.
Evening comes, the sun sets behind the hill.

I wish that lonely cottage was my place,
There I would live in quiet, peace and grace.

A-Muse

A-MUSE

My inspiration is a Muse
who stirs me when my mind is bleak
to conjure up a mental fuse
igniting thoughts that I will seek

coherent schemes of words that soothe
creating words as poets do
with words as crude as well as smoothe
her cradled words awating you

a whispering Calliope
resounds in epic poetry
a favorite muse of my theme
a voice that trebles as it teems

she fondles all my words of love
onto her breast that I adore
I stare up to the clouds above
now we are bonding in rapport

Grinnin At Me Like She Wanna Get To Know Me

THEY SOUNDED SOFT AND BASSEY
I LIKED IT
I WAS FALLING IN LOVE WITH IT
IT WAS SO BASSEY IT
MOVED THE FLOOR WITH VIBRATIONS
I LOVED IT
I LEARNED TO SING IT
AND THEN I
OWNED IT
MAKING THE SOUND REAL AND MINE
FROM BEGANNING TO VERSE
CHOURUS AND VERSE
I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT
YOU MIGHT THINK I LOVE YOU
AND YOU MIGHT THINK I CARE
MAKING ME PROMISES
LIKE YOU REALLY CARE
GET REAL WHY DON'T YOU
BE RIGHT YOU TRYIN TO
SUMTHANG AINT RIGHT WITH YOU
SO I'M CHANGING THE LYRICS.
BASS THIS
BASS THAT
TREMBLE CRISPS
TREBLES CRAP
MAN.....AINT NO RHYTHM WITH THIS
WE HAD TO CHANGE IT ALL AROUND
I SAY DO IT
STOP MOCKIN ME
I SAY I LIKE THIS NOW
I SAY, I LIKE THE SOUND
WHATS RIGHT WITH THIS
I KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG
WE MADE IT RIGHT
GAVE IT A NEW LIFE
I LIKE IT NOW
EVERY BODY LIKES IT NOW

Premium MemberHer Musical Butterflies of Love

Butterflies of quavers and trebles and clefs,
Flutter all over her breast,
Creating a gentle, melodious hum,
Whenever she’s completely undressed,

Filling the room with a shade of her soul,
Becoming a beautiful dance,
A dance that sways and floats and wafts,
Seducing me in a love trance,

As her finger nails shine, painted in black,
Wash her lips in dark red,
And the words to her music talk to my heart,
Pulling me onto her bed,

Where we continue to tango in a Latin of lust,
Dancing every single desire,
Throughout the dark night, in a passion of love,
Our passionate love burning fire.

like real lovers do!
Express yo happiness e'er time we meet.
love is the expression, this song wants to bring.

even though I loved you first.
cause I love you
I let yo reherst me from time to time.
Music that's ballady and groovey at the same time,
sumthang that yo, and yo, lover
can sing and find,
time to spend together the melodies just fine.

Sing mi when you happy, and when things are going wrong.
Artistic expressions rangey and smooth.

The Purple Mist

Trapped in a sonic boom
Sound ignites the airwaves
Locked in an atomic storm
Light sounds the microwaves

Crushed in a vacuum of thunder
An atmospheric lethal venom
Sending lightning bolts under
An encapsulating panoramic serum

With blistering speed and power
The purple mist takes form
A global charged tower
Hope blinded to a dark room

An inspired glimpse of sounds
Through the mist a hopeful glance
Tears of joy soaking the ground
The air trebles with dance

Thankful for a second chance
An intense metamorphic rebirth
Suffocating all weaknesses
The rise of a new breed of strength

Premium MemberOneness

*
From a single word
the Divine bestows kismets
of gifts benign, as we look outside
our tiny molecule of life and feel the roaming
breath of many realms
larger than our jagged existence;

that we are just one, one with beggars,
thieves, prophets grains, stars… and that we
will give back and beget the trebles
of light refreshing all … molded we are from
only one  heaven of omnipresent being;
an immutable Source.

**
Winds rustle unto adorned foliage
they know not of; comets greet
milky earth without asking the whys
and wherefores of such glides: each mortal heart
uttering the same rhyme of peace
in different skin colors, as miles navigate
the buttresses of time -zones, yet always…
always imbued by a holy psalm of enlightened
Oneness.

Amoeba

Lesson as a child is an inborn
It's of course right in the bone.
Like the early privilege souls:
Shakespeare, Yeast and Milton.
They are the history of years that sings in me.

Come down to Africa
Not only did their poetry sings
Some note to my possession
Likewise, their marbles, trebles and puzzles
Contributes to my endless pride.

The lake, the sky... and the sun
Are equally positive gestures
That muse my spirit for verse.

Pen will not sleep off my physical and mental surroundings-
My Bloods, my peers, faith, media and society
They are toast tools that deliver me from fits.

Muffled Voices

Two closed doors
and the distance
the width of a wall.

Two voices, one yours
the trebles are normal
as they rise and fall.

In this moment
you aren't going crazy.
In this moment
what you say makes perfect sense.

I can pretend
you're saying anything
but what you're saying
when I hear muffled voices.

I think of:
black and white movies,
a Philadelphia Story
and I Love Lucy,
non parels,
you basking in the sun,
Neopolotin
ice cream,
elephants
who never forget,
Victor Borge
and the way you laugh,
your tan skin
against
your denim dress.
Memories can't be just old friends,
No, they can't be.
When I hear muffled voices

My Mind

My mind is like a well read novel--
and the pages there are torn,
rustling, crunching, crackling noises
from whence my thoughts were born.

A thousand words, a thousand more--
fill my brain with beautiful silence,
round and round like a merry go round,
my betraying voice of violence.

My mind is like an antique bass;
each vibrant hum,echoes sweetly--
clefs and trebles, my music sheets
are compiled ever so neatly.

I find in song, the greatest friend--
each note, a sincere appreciation,
fa, so, la, ti, do-- a graceful chant,
within a tomb, my souls vibration.

My mind is like a pregnant garden--
with fruits from shore to shore,
an apple tree, no longer forbidden
rivers of gold, in my hearts decor.

Valleys that extend to your dreams,
are wondrous places, I do implore--
Wherein I see your face, I think
I must someday venture to explore.

My mind is like a wilting rose,
for when it falls, no one knows.

Premium MemberBold As Love

A life, so amplified
in screaming rock and roll

From troubled home,...trebles honed
Legend grew as bold as love

He played plugged in, beneath the night
Of midnight lamp, ...yet still alone
And we will see a future of a thousand years
still screaming glory that he'll never know

First Day At the Sea

The water is rising towards the shore.
Like a cradle, it rocks me gently,
Easing me with its gentle embrace.
The hug of the sea.

My ears are filled with new sounds,
Listening to the harmonic trebles and
The symphonic bass of the waves.
The voice of the sea.

The breeze blows across the frigid waves.
The chill hits me and goose bumps,
Spiked like the spines of an urchin, appear.
The touch of the sea.

I dive down. The water is above me.
I see nothing but blurry blobs of blue,
An azure fog stretching in all directions.
The gaze of the sea.

My head emerges from the top,
I poke out of the blanket of waves,
Swimming back to the sandy shores.
My farewell to the sea.
