A View From The Other Side

Like a ferocious bull
trapped in a China cabinet,
She suddenly collapses
and in fury she seethes
and she cries and rages

Only in deep prayer
does she find inner peace;
Her turmoil churns,
She's manifesting magic
and manic moon phases.

Deep-seated pain
from a lack of self,
deeply profound
it loudly rings
through every ripple,
of her past and future

Feathered hair
covers a tear-streaked face;
The Gods know of her;
They see her soul scars
and the etheric sutures.

Her sobs quietly fade
as Sorrows of Deep Past
torment her soul
throughout night and day

I walk away in silence
and in my heart
swells Gratitude;
forever relieved
at her absence

Truly elated I am
that her soul scars
are not mine;
And for that Wisdom,
I know that
Unlike her
I was already whole

Bel canto
Her asking Suport- Part three

Somewhere they say
that you and I are together
somewhere they'll believe
that we are one

we found interest in us together
we're interested in
having fun
My true love
don't know we're together
If it goes Your way
we've just begun

I know ya'll get tired
of sounding blue
hearing song's about people
doing the things they do

Happiness is
of what you make it
Ones selfishness
 is often selected

One things true
in a Lovers Obligation
Timing is everything
to not leave one waitin

Wait for Love
when ya'll know it's right
aint no love
when nothing right
seems I'm being
a little selfish
Most obvious
when you
feel neglected

mid-fall

feels like
mid-spring

in the
Deep South

highs in
eighties

breaking
records

shorts and
flipflops

still worn
daily

forecast
warning—

cold front’s
coming

that’s no
surprise

time to
find those

gloves and
jackets

toss those
wilting

mums and
pansies

mourn not
loss of

mid-fall
mildness

winter’s
coming

with her

October

October brings us 'round to wonder
What's ahead as our year is ending
This vibrant time with colors transcending
On Earth at this time every year.

From green to yellow, to orange, and brown
Disappearing leaves and flowers give us pause
Unaware we grieve their loss
On Earth at this time every year.

A signal of loss, but we seem to welcome
The transformation as if it were new
We need this annual loss, it's true
On Earth at this time every year.

More time inside with the harvest complete
Mother quilts, Father cans, sister weaves
Empty trees, piles of leaves
On Earth at this time every year.

Though the days cool, our attitudes warm
Reflecting through these transitions, though strange
October leads us to the season of change
On Earth at this time every year.

Transitions

Someone said that you're either a man or a woman,
well now, maybe Rishi was right, say it if you can;
you may not choose although perhaps it's coming,
how many more will be playing football we're wondrin.

We need a new changing room, we have to be sure,
to make certain that no one's peeping under the door;
what to do about the armed forces, dodgy seems to me,
but in hindsight they could scare the .... out of the enemy.

Sporting events could be a problem if there's about face,
may not be allowed to participate in an egg and spoon race;
these contentions all become just a bit of a silly drag,
when every year you'll need to be one year older to have a ... .

It was just bad enough if I couldn't find a decent breast,
no guarantees now, be careful, you might have second guessed.

Transitions

A cocoon to butterfly's.
Egg, to free birdie's.
Inseparable from each change
Smooth, painless goes by
Wonder into wisdom morphs.
Shallow, deeper joy.
For what of bodies, souls
Tell us, Earth and Sky.

Premium Member Finals Week 4

Final exams start Thursday,
and it’s giving us all the feels.

Finals have a gravity of their own.
Are the papers worse than exams? Maybe.
The tension can be relentless and heavy.
“It’s finals week, see you on the other side.”

As for me, I’m almost packed up.
Time is an odd and unpredictable beast.
It’s hard to believe that in two weeks, I'll be a junior.
It’s an unimaginable prospect.

To work, for a long time at something that seemed impossible
 - head down in concentration - then suddenly, like a passing,
cotton cloud somehow became a bunny - everything came into focus.

I’m halfway done. I’m going to make it. I got a chill.

I wanted to throw my lattice windows wide open and scream for joy
- but it might’ve been taken wrong. I’ve no time to give mental health advisors.

Next week might be a more plausible time for wooting.
.
.
It has to be said. I’m in love with these songs:
‘Arizona‘ by ‘Ms. White’
‘Blood in the Cut’ by ‘K.Flay’
‘Time Machine’ by ‘Willow’
‘Relax’ by ‘Vacations’
‘Do the motion’ by ‘BoA’
“Tender as a bomb’ by ‘tennis’

Transitions - Collab With Margarita Lillico

Autumn ultimately receives it all -
Painted in bald bohemian design,
A poet’s sacred inspiration shrine -
Nevertheless not exempt from the fall.

Winter ultimately trumps with cold swing -
Triumphant yet frigid, monochrome muse,
Sublimating into slumbering blues -
Nevertheless not immune to the spring.

Spring ultimately renews with fresh whiff -
Splendour of colours ignites the world hued,
Young fauna run around with zest imbued -
Nevertheless not spared from summer's sniff.

Summer ultimately shines bright with cheer -
The ocean blows in soft breeze on waves white,
Morning swims and evening walks, hearts delight,
Nevertheless not secure from Fall's sneer.

Autumn ultimately unveils it all,
Basking in bold bohemian design,
Pastoral poets’ inspiration shrine -
Enlivens lavishly before the fall.

Winter ultimatum trumps with chill swing -
Impetus frozen by a frigid muse -
Sublimating into slumbering blues,
Melting away under the spell of Spring.

Spring’s ultimate pizazz wafts in the air,
Awakening the passions of pristine -
Romance’s timid touch from hues of green,
Blush to blossom under Summer’s hot stare.

Summer struts with an ultimate demand -
Party for all disciples of the sun -
Sweet sweat of dog days in the languid run,
Til Autumn takes a precedented stand.

Summer’s
ending;

autumn’s
pending.

Nature
teases,

sending
breezes

cool and
pleasing

but so
fleeting.

Temps rise
greeting

summer
lovers.

Autumn
hovers.

Soon warm
covers

will be
needed.

Those who
pleaded

for fall’s
coming

will be
humming.

Transitions of Lifetime

Poetry grows in silence,
and darkling the imagination
in the clouds begins the sky
besides, we don't conceive how it is right...
 On limbo we stand still,
we await any solution,
this life is only one life,
where do we wait?
  the mission...
If we are passive we live in fear,
if we fight we are only competition,
in place hideouts are the secrets,
and in the sacred books is the reason...
Our happiness is in the smile,
so the soul becomes full of colors,
if we understand this it will be simple,
understand the transition of time...... !

Seasonal Transitions

Proud daffodils have bowed their weary heads
And roses shed their petals one by one,
Green leaves transform to gold and fiery reds
The gilded reign of autumn has begun.

Farewell to fragrant bluebell woods of spring
And summer’s lush and verdant meadow grass,
In vain, tenacious leaves to branches cling:
The changing scenes of life must come to pass.

As nights draw in, the silver harvest moon
Shines boldly through defenceless, naked trees
And pirouetting leaves will settle soon,
For winter’s riding on the autumn breeze.

The reaper’s joyful song in golden fields
Begins to fade as Fall to winter yields.
