There'Ll Come a Time

There’ll come a time,
When the wind will stop blowing,
And the road will stop up ahead.

A day the birds will no longer chirp,
And the sun will no longer shine.

And when the day arrives,
That the divine clock stops ticking,
...I will finally see you.

Spent

A day goes by, and not a sight of boredom is to ruin this day. Life is passing by and it's
like burning a lot of daylight. I'd rather have a real good time going to the park or
whatever than doing nothing. I'd also rather be spending my days of freedom somewhere out
there than staying at home while the hours pass me by. Another day goes by, and I'm still
thinking about going out somewhere and seeing more daylight. This whole "being bored"
thing is like being confined to a room with these plain walls with nothing to do. I'm not
going to spend my days filled with boredom; I need to go to the park, do whatever. I
really want to stay outside for a long time, but my days have been spent. I wish that all
of the days and weekends would never end.

Songs N Signatures

day dreaming
beneath your ceiling
under your cracks of blue
on a cloudy Sunday
I was something
soothing you
Lying in the crescents
of a mystery
Am I spending
too much time with you

and we were a shoulder
alive and highly
candling the thoughts of two
oh, they say i was
spending too much
time with you
beneath your cracks of blue
day dreaming
in the streets of night
lights and colors
a shimmering absence
vacant promises

in these all night dreams
when day light seemed
to wonder and deem
until
the morning screamed
and i was crazy
how you crazed me
the jewels you gave me
drove me daisies
into hours hazel
crowded and hazy

and we were children
beyond a rhythm
waltzing in a melody
alive and highly
beneath the splinters
flowers rekindled
but they say i was
spending too much
time with you
day dreaming
in her cracks of blue

oh she loved you
she seldom left you
in the cracks of blue
across the avenue
it was nothing new
just day dreaming
souls were clinging

Week Daze: Not a Poem, But Word Play : )

Weak-dei is a day following immediately after a Sick Day

Shun-dei is a day when a person just wants to stay in bed

Moan-dei is a day to complain about what work needs be done

T’ewes-dei is a day a person feels sheepishly

Wins-dei is the day someone becomes lucky in the lottery

Thirst-dei is the day many alcoholics suffer from

Fry-dei is a day when workers are ‘burnt out’ with the job

Scatter-dei is a day when volunteers are needed and everyone becomes scarce

Ben Ehlong-Dei is an alias people often use after all, or part, of a 24 hour period of time filled
with unpleasantness or boredom

Time For Thought

As you sit there in your chair and ponder
Your heart and soul begin to wonder
Missing the things that used to be
A part of a perfect harmony

Childhood memories make you smile
The time that has passed since, has been a long while
Christmas time in elementary school
Fun times in high school acting the fool

Long days in college and parties galore
And the start of a new job, unlike any before
Is it a merely daydream or is it not?
Such imagination in the mind, it cannot be taught

For a child can picture a day with world peace
Where the storms are to end, and the sun to increase
So use your thoughts to build the day after tomorrow
But beware of the thoughts that are filled only with sorrow

Duality of Two

This day I saw both the sun and moon appear in daylight.
One so bright not able to stare, I chose the other in sight.
Moons vision bearing down I saw the reflection of night.
Two halves of this orb, I peered with much delight.
Split down the middle one bright the other shaded quite.
Dimly, so I could see the whole circumference, so bright.
What I saw confirmed what I already knew, definitely trite.
That this celestial body revolves around us in a fight.
A controlled boundary, by the power of the one with might.
The one I saw reflecting upon other, with a blinding plight.
This is truly rare to see, without clouds of gray and white.
Possible this day and probably others with conditions right,
They intrigued me to gaze upon their duality of flight.
The brilliant solar orb glancing power on its dutiful satellite,
Opposites of duality together for a time with or without invite.
Within the Heavens at brink of afternoon, sky stands in fright.

As we go through our youthful lives unknowingly
each day is a delicate future memory of the past.
Time that has been shared in the present with
loved ones has drifted to our future memories.

This drifting time space from present to future
has been stolen or lost to the awaiting time bandits.
Why did we not cling to each forgotten day's existence
so tightly as never to be stolen or allowed to be lost?

Suddenly an unexpected beautiful memory finds her way
to your present day galaxy of thoughts in your being.
You are reminded of all those joyful past present days
and you embrace them...threats...the bandits are lurking.

There is still time to resist and keep them afar forever.
Now older, you grasp each day as you breathe each second.
This most precious person will evermore remain in
my cherrished and loving present future memories.

Greatest Love of All

The greatest love of all might be a fake antidote
A distraction to the mundane and insane ongoings of day to day
From streaming through the cement jungle on your tap shoes
Or running in the nick of time
Spilling the cup
Jumping the ropes of change
That’s when you find the great moment of joy
One great supply of unfurnished real fresh air
“Faaaa”
Like in the breadth of living you find life worth living
And your greatest love of all

A cup of piping coffee dark and sane
A glass of chardonnay
A new pair of heels, wheels, or sealing the deal

A dress with ruffles, nothing less than ruffles
A moment with your sister
A laugh with your brother
A sweet cookie and meal with your mother

Bursting through the mundane doors you come out alive and renewed
A prayer to the heavens and your re-glued
Sticking to the point, you’re on the way
It’s a new day

A fresh new day might be the greatest love of all

You and Me

YOU and ME

What joy you bring my heart,
To hear your voice and see your smile
I miss the wonder I can see through
You’re loving eyes,
I miss the caring of your heart, I hear
As you tenderly speak,
I miss the woman you make of me,
Each time we meet.

Each day our lives seem so much more…
Special than the day before,
A piece of heaven here
As we wait for our Lord to meet,
Thank you for being my special
Reminder of our God’s love toward me
May I bring you joy and love
From Him to you, how very much
He love us both…you and me.

Night Write

Why this time?
Why this time of night?
That all I have to say,
Becomes easy to write?

When all throughout the morning,
And the sun's displays' of light,
And all throughout the evening,
I cannot seem to write.

But care I will not,
As long as they're free,
The thoughts that were there,
On here they shall be.

And up all night,
If I shall need to stay,
Until the sun is bright,
I'll write them away.

But when does it stop?
When does the flow end?
When the new day is brought?
When the sun shines again?

It scares me to think,
That age is the same
That one day my ink,
Will run out and remain.

Everyday Now

Another day down
What to do with the time
Such a soft sweet sleep
No one stays the same

All around you
All I wanted
All the turmoil
I can see no more

Life’s moving so fast
I have got to catch up to it
The reasons in consequence
Why are you so intense

Of all the stars in the night sky
Is it me that you notice the most
Or have I lost you
Vacant and we were so close

Another day down
Don’t be so stubborn
No one sleeps sound
And it all ends the same

No one knows you
And I’m just improvising
No one stays the same
Don’t you miss those days

Tomorrow

Tomorrow and tomorrow
Is the day I had not been before
A new unopened door
Of time I cannot yet borrow.

Tomorrow shall be today
Soon rolling back the vernal curtain
On promises in delay
Making expectations certain.

I would turn back from this coming
Of day that won’t turn back
For me, each second the pounding
Footsteps pace my heart like a forest track.

Yet somewhere in the unknown
Tomorrow, your presence calls
Me into rest, the sea waves moan
And sweetly now your footstep falls.

Life, Moments and Time

LIFE
ONE DAY RIGHT INTO THE NEXT
LIFE
EACH DAY IS PART OF A GRANDER TEXT

MOMENTS
CAN YOU LEAFN TO SAVOR EACH ONE ?
MOMENTS
SO MANY MEANINGFUL BEFORE EACH DAY IS DONE

TIME
HOW DO YOU MEASURE IT'S ONGOING SPAN ?
TIME
A DWARFED THING IN THE PALM OF GOD'S HAND

LIFE
MOMENT BY MOMENT RIGHT INTO THE NEXT
LIFE

Reflection

Each in turn the days go by
with their wonders to be seen.
Throughout each day the changing sky
beckons reflection for the eye so keen.

Many are they who wander life's path
and never take the time
to reflect on the day except through wrath
so they deny such beauty sublime.

I tell you, grateful is the heart
that can see the smallest things
as gifts from a loving God
who desires your heart to sing.

Let His blessings grace your days on earth
and refuse vain murmuring and strife.
In this it is that you live your worth
and fulfill the days of your life.

Family and Friends

Where does the time go
Why do family members
And friends have to leave us

Endless questions, I'm so tired
I want to go to sleep too

I remember so vividly as a child
Family members and friends
So clearly

Yet, as each day passes
Their images fade a little more
In my mind

My mother, daddy, aunts, uncles,
Cousins, and friends
And endless sea of faces in
Front of me

Wishing I could speak to them again
Wondering what they'd have to tell me

Knowing one day in the future,
Some of us will meet again
