hang on tight-all

i.....yigh yigh
wowza man...
before my coffee

i'm just a fold...
now that age has
taken hold andt...

something need be
done to ensure...
life remains fun so

go and hum eh?!...
sing, whistle, smile
all the while since...

you're one with music
in your head andt wood...

Burn the witch

They say I'm a witch, but when I told them I have a spell to make them write poetry, they shout "Free the witch!"

But when I say I'm a writer, they want to hurt me. As soon as I mention my spell to make words touch hearts, they say "Free the writer!"

To me, it doesn't

Mr Flip-Flop

Going barefoot feels fine at the time
and wearing shoes do too
but sometimes I need something light
something not quite so tight only sandals will do
going barefoot feels fine now and then
and donning boots do too
but sometimes I want something loose
something I can put to good use only sandals come through
sandals always do the trick

When walking tight rope
Use your heart and mind
To balance the situation
To never get fall
Don't look elsewhere
Focus your mind forward
While concentrating on the rope
Let the heart control the inner
Stretch your both hands sideways
Like a feather for wind control
Step the right foot forward
To leverage success
Until you reach the end
To victory and never came back.

tight money

Tight money, midnight glow,
jet black hustle, feel the flow.
Cool breeze in a house of cash,
chips in hand, ready to clash.

Rolling the dice, fate be good to me,
a fool’s game? I can’t help but laugh.
Swing house boogie band pumping loud,
the losing blues song got the crowd.

Seven here, eleven there,
heaven found in the high-stakes air.
Rent waits at

The Fiddling Fiddler

Shorts up his ****,
Not moving very fast,
Shorts are too mini,
You see too much skinny,
Hand down his pants,
As if there were ants,
The “fit” of his shorts,
Made our lunch aborts,
Fiddling fiddling all the time,
In his teeny tiny shorts the colour lime,
Slick and wet they are so tight,
Will he get out of them… 
He might (not).

TIGHT SPACE

I’m stuck in a corner, feelin’ the walls close in,
Air’s getting thinner, can’t catch my breath again.
Every move feels like I’m breaking the frame,
Trapped in a moment I can’t seem to escape.

In this tight space, where the world’s caving in,
I’m searching for a way to just begin again.
The pressure’s on, but I won’t break,
I’ll find

Tucked In- Covered Tight

summertime has passed
memories are left
of our lovely days
shared with family

special times held dear
grown grands in the pool
great granddaughters too
memories to last

yes, those days flew by
all too soon it came
close the pool- to sleep
tucked in, covered tight

and await next year
when in early June
twill embrace once more
loved ones in my life

Tight lines taut

A poet who fishes, wishes for tight lines
with fish hooked, caught and ready to play.
The poet wishes for taut-line inspiration
while whiling away the hours of solitude
in the quiet peaceful wilderness
waiting for a nibble or bite.

For there can be no better place to go
and no time better spent,
by a poet who fishes,
than to enjoy the wait

the smithy was empty
and the tree near it had fallen
and no one had expected it
the sunken sun had made a stand
with desperate gaiety
swept through sleep
to break the night

The Autumn children
like caged birds
counted the crocus stalks
and for footfalls of a misbegotten
soothsayer

the sparrows are minute
lead eye
face deftness
my lover is whole and beautiful
there is no dust on her shoulders

We press on, bound to yesterday, dragging chains through time’s tight whirlwind

HOLDING TIGHT

Flying to tree tops,
to bottom out.
Such is fleeting youth,
memories abounding.
Climbing out of myself
to recreate the scene.
Holding tight the reverie.
