HEARD IN WHITE HOUSE HALLS
IRAN HAS US BY THE BALLS
TRUMP HEARING CAT CALLS
From the beginning, I came with my fists held tight
When I exited my mother's womb, I screamed and readied myself for a fierce fight
A fight I didn't understand at the time...
Way before the development of my prefrontal cortex and mind
But something peculiar sat in my spirit...
Coyly poking and nudging me to be intuit
And into it I was
But over time I started to lose my buzz
As I grew, no longer was I mirthfully floatin' and stingin'
Still, I was in the ring, and the fight they kept bringin'...
Fighting for a seat at the table___
After I was released from Dad's steel hands and Mama's nurturing ladle
Fighting for my voice to be heard in a world with stuffed ears
Fighting, just fighting to abolish my creeping fears
Fighting for my sweet, sweet dreams...
With my clenched hands, I still hold them, but so far away they seem
Fighting, fighting to experience peace and joy in the golden light
But soon--oh, too soon-- the fists become less tight

the oolh lah-lah's of do this
it's forbiddened in may palce
is it where you are
sung the lady that smiled
and sat uneasy
ooh lah, ooh ooh
what this proves about you.
I aint to sinful suiter
don't wanna be Romeoh for you
day by day
like ah man
Not suposse to
lick loving can't get me
where you want me to be
the tea-riff ik two
the Terrific two
ooh ah ooh!
Hold me tight until it hurts,
Into your icy heart I melt and fade.
Where the night shelters me beneath
its carpet of twinkling firefly sky.
Oh, the light I hate like pain..
into the bright, scorching fame.
Hold me tight until it hurts.
Till the jungle meets the gentle beach,
Roar into my ears until it stings;
let every rambling sound be drowned..
failure and loser calls still gonging.
Hold me tight until it hurts.
Into the rain we hold as young,
Swaying side by side, we drift,
my tears pooling beneath our feet.
Hold me tight until I drain.
As the storm begins to quiet,
and night and day embrace again,
I’ll release you for a single breath..
Hold me tight until that comes.
I followed doubt; It locked me in tight spaces. I followed courage; It set me Free.
Not young anymore
My muscles are tight and weak
I don't want to die
On a shard stretched of incomprehensible narrow, tight and wide,
a silent strident laugh I often forbade-allowed myself,
it's the ordered chaos indescribable, the howling clang
of hermit tear struck in a shattered version,
habitual miracle of screaming silence, poor wealth,
fulfilled-unfulfilled love in the sweet cruel pain,
embalmed wound of your gentle-cruel smile, deep-smooth,
chasm full of filling, lady-lord, speak silently,
divinely mortal, thus unfulfilled-complete, mute song
of swan terribly gentle, of angel broken-whole,
white-black of the cursed one blessed in forgetting-remembrance...
I long without longing, dying alive, lucid foolish thoughts,
perpendicular parallel equations, humble pride of ladies
rubicund-pallid, prostituted icons holy-profaned,
fierce cold embraced I feel in ribs empty full,
our loves lonely-together, I have spring-summer
frozen-inflamed, satisfied hunger for warm winter,
autumns with dry rains of sleet falling upward,
that fly-frozen calm torrents toward fields
hermit-populated, our stars extinguished-lit,
sky-earth, living death from the empty-full mind,
your caress burning-cold, my life confirms-denies!
Like star falling in my arms tonight
I’ll caress you and hug you tight.
chocolate tonight
vanilla ice cream delight
clock late wait sleep tight
i.....yigh yigh
wowza man...
before my coffee
i'm just a fold...
now that age has
taken hold andt...
something need be
done to ensure...
life remains fun so
go and hum eh?!...
sing, whistle, smile
all the while since...
you're one with music
in your head andt wood...

They say I'm a witch, but when I told them I have a spell to make them write poetry, they shout "Free the witch!"
But when I say I'm a writer, they want to hurt me. As soon as I mention my spell to make words touch hearts, they say "Free the writer!"
To me, it doesn't matter if you're for me or against me.
I choose to write. Poetry is my passion.
With poetry, I find my voice and my identity.
I discovered poetry when I was searching for what I'm good at.
If you want to set me free or keep me bound, I'll keep writing. My words will touch hearts, and that's all that matters.
Free the writer, or bind the writer tight,
I'll write my poems, day and night.
My words will shine, my voice will be heard,
Free or bound, my poetry's my word!
Going barefoot feels fine at the time
and wearing shoes do too
but sometimes I need something light
something not quite so tight only sandals will do
going barefoot feels fine now and then
and donning boots do too
but sometimes I want something loose
something I can put to good use only sandals come through
sandals always do the trick
and of the pack I had my pick
but wish I knew what makes them tick
and get a handle on these my brand new sandals
they didn't cost a lot of money
but when I walk my feet sound funny
flip-flop flip-flop
my right goes flip my left goes flop
flip-flop flip-flop all day long until I stop
tho' they're really no good for running
I'm footloose and fancy-free
and if you hear a flip-flop coming
hey that'll be me
flip-flop flip-flop flip-flop flip-flop
When walking tight rope
Use your heart and mind
To balance the situation
To never get fall
Don't look elsewhere
Focus your mind forward
While concentrating on the rope
Let the heart control the inner
Stretch your both hands sideways
Like a feather for wind control
Step the right foot forward
To leverage success
Until you reach the end
To victory and never came back.
Tight money, midnight glow,
jet black hustle, feel the flow.
Cool breeze in a house of cash,
chips in hand, ready to clash.
Rolling the dice, fate be good to me,
a fool’s game? I can’t help but laugh.
Swing house boogie band pumping loud,
the losing blues song got the crowd.
Seven here, eleven there,
heaven found in the high-stakes air.
Rent waits at the door, but I smile
one more roll, I'll stay awhile.
At this moment, I’m alive,
tight money magic, I thrive.
Let the world spin, like a roulette table in the wind.
tonight, the odds are all on me.
I'm a gamblin' junkie when will I be free?
