George Francis Train
Introduced the tram to England
I introduced microwaving the sausage and bun together
To a not-very-impressed-American
We talked and talked into the night
About opera
How Norma's role was designed
For Giuditta Pasta
The weather cooled and necessitated
A dressing gown
He got up and strolled through the room
Pondering whether to purchase four-hundred pound Glastonbury tickets
At dawn, we'd moved onto chess
He advised, 'You gotta ram the pieces down their throat.'
When will I be invited to a Beverly Hills mansion dinner?
Love makes a family not always blood
Most often relatives do bond and trust
Those they grow with and are born to
But family can be adopted or married into
Family is a blessing especially when strong
Talent and character often home grown
But even when separated due to life chance
Bond still felt by family welcoming open hands
Sometimes family experience some drama
Things happen causing turquoise trauma
Yet where there’s love and forgiveness indeed
Broken can be mended by family unity
If you are like me and experienced abuse
There’s nothing anyone can say of your truth
You’ve only got to be true to yourself
Good family is better than wealth
Despite hardships angst times stormy sea
It’s important to have in life a good family
Why is it that men in suits and ties
Tell some of the world’s biggest lies
Nurturing their business affairs
Befriending loser billionaires
All while another innocent person dies.
TIES THAT BIND
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
German
descendant
am I
ties
bind me
to
'Deutschland'
ethereal
threads
Another drag... inhale, exhale, inhale, lungs fill with toxic smoke
another sip... fire glides down her aching throat
another croaking whisper to the one beside, although aloof and remote.
She laughs in the face of sorrow, trying in vain to hide behind her eyes
the sound is an open coffin, a high hysterical
plea filled cry
I imagine she has children, and the sweetness of love since nothing less can cause such hurt
For what we care for most, are the very things
we just can't desert
As much as we yearn to dislocate, hide and finally
push self~destruct
We are bound with soul ties that true love feverishly constructs
Unable to throw off these chains
connecting soul to soul
We walk about as Marley's ghost,
each link taking a toll.
For the ties are conducive to nightmares or dreams of lost loves
Imprinted on our hearts and minds, never fully leaving us.
Whether your Love is unrequited, or Love that stays true
You create the spirits that will forever haunt you.
Easter egg hunt for little ones
In green grass under yellow sun
Laughs that grab hearts red sonnet
Bow ties brown eyes and pink bonnet
So cute toddler who picks up a rock
Doesn’t want the emerald egg on top
Another girl seems to fuchsia fear
Easter Bunny with floppy brown ears
Every one excited taking peach photos
Easter memories as valuable as gold
The ties of friendship
Life without friends is incomplete.
An important ingredient for the recipe of life.
They make life beautiful and downbeat.
Gives a boost of excitement and thrill for the journey of life.
You treasure your friends as a gift,
Love and honesty are what you give.
We turn to them when our soul needs a lift.
Friends make life a better place to live.
You shirk the weight of parenthood's call,
leaving your children to wither, unfed.
Are you a father, or mere specter of one?
A mother, or just a shadow that's gone?
While others nurture, educate, and guide,
you abandon your own to fate's tide.
Your concern lies with outsiders, it seems,
while your kin suffer, and your legacy beams.
The children you forsook, the partner you left,
will rise to greatness, despite the neglect.
Will you claim pride in their future fame?
Seek praise for years of absence, and hollow claims?
Awaken to your duties, and seize the day,
for the future beckons, and will not stray.
Railroads and Stair Ties
inside his french rent
everything went wrong at night
the city creeps in behind
and around your backs
having two different doorways
wondering when you lock
yourself in and upstairs
music's happen after
you walk to work
so during brunch her
boyfriends manage the street
sign like thats gonna work
Josey boy on his way to the morning shifts
Eyes viewing left but my hearts veering right keeping you close in my mind even when your far outta sight . I see what they offer but I know what I have and you center me whole cause your place is a half Outta all of my wrongs I know your what’s right so the vows of the now are for the rest of our life Haters want to see us quit cause we got is so legit that what Shade and implement can only help us benefit you were the key I was the lock and I say that in the past tense cause gaining access to a lock without the key is just bad sense forever hold me down and I’ll always pick you up And when the world tears us down we can build each other up Frayful fears of my past is why I grind towards the future making the present of the presence a vibe meant to soothe and subdue ya Life is the world for the world is alive seeded providing air needed for us to flourish and thrive intricate in design or maybe it’s just a matrix of mind and perceptions perceived not permitting me to project what’s not meant for the time but let me rewind and quickly change back the context It’s always us over them choosing other is nonsense soul ties
Individualistic philanthropy is a virtue to a spark,
A charred ember of your simmering soul,
Before me are those who surround my being,
My subconscious is present as I often drown myself to become what they require,
A sponge to their water,
To the oceans of their misfortune, I abode,
Days grow longer and I find myself no more able to absorb their words, the sea,
Upon my falter to the bottom I have gone,
Am I forgiven?
I could no longer obtain the torture your rain poured upon me,
My eyes, broken eyes,
My ears, deafened ears,
My advice oozing mouth, sewn shut,
Every cut and burn that taints my paper skin is thanks to myself and the glass of life,
Am I forgiven?
Broken and torn to shreds of who I may become,
I peeled skin from my bones to cover your scars,
Am I forgiven?
For I left all too soon to start anew,
For I forgot my roots in the collection of catastrophe this life of mine had been,
Tell me, I plead,
Am I forgiven?
For I have forgiven you.
- ''Our strong ties are eternal,'
we are never loose...
pulsating rhythm of before and after,
happiness in total trust
perfect harmony and light
intense duet like Nirvana
"pleasure in maximum expression"
Family is not a place to argue
Family is where love is shared together
Family is not a fight for right or wrong
Nor it is a battlefield to be defeated
Family is not where you win or lose
It's a place for us to come back after being tired
A place of refuge being pressured on society out there
Family member should exert love to know how to express it
Must afraid of losing, must know how to keep the bond intact
Men who respect their family are most fortunate
It's always those who are successful and rich
Look at those husbands who eat alcohol
Drunk. Or the vulgar husbands
And all the husband who flirt with their girls
They are those husbands that can't get no success.
Ties
The squealing of
the glowing ties in
my bottom chest drawer,
ties I seldom wear and
definitely don’t think
much about, spreads in
my knee to
affect the
lateral collateral and
medial collateral ligament; affect the
lateral and
medial meniscus; of course too
affect my
patella, femur, fibula, and
finally tibia. As a consequence, there are
days and nights I can’t
walk and
I can’t
thank them all enough!
In the forest where the trees glow,
Shimmering stars shine, a stunning show.
Mesmerizing marvels in an idyllic, calm flow,
Cheerful gifts gathered gently in a row.
Blanketed children in wonder and cheer,
Gingerbread cookies, sweet flavors near.
Iced in crimson, green, festive atmosphere,
Sprinkles of joy as Santa draws near.
A sleigh with bells that jingle and run,
We gather as families, our hearts are full of fun.
Celebrating traditions, our spirits as one,
In the warmth of the holiday, we bask in the sun.
Shimmering ivory pearls in moonbeams,
Gentle lullabies that soothe all our dreams
Chalked memories drift in a crystalline stream,
In hopes that our love will forever gleam.
Though jaded vials may drip with despair,
We find elixirs of hope in the air.
Sick veins may quiver, dreams still ensnare,
As impending fate reminds us we care.
