Tidal Wave

Submerge me.
The waves beneath me,
I struggle to stay above the surface,
It feels like every little thing is against me.
Belittling the backlash,
As the waves of life fight against me.
Just looking for solid ground,
Save me a place to lay down.
The journey has been rough
And my problems are real.
Give me strength to prevail.
Chaos clouds clear waters
Leaving the ocean floor stained.
Create peace
And spread it like a tidal wave.
The power within is raw,
Mericiless
And it can kill.
The forces of nature are real,
My connection to the elements
Makes me at home by the water.
How something so vast and complex
Can be all around us,
Yet hold so many memories.
From a trickle,
To a fall
Without tidal waves life wouldn't exist at all.

Premium MemberTidal Wave of Lust For Favored Love

Midnight
Under the thin feather clouds,
Yet beyond the beginning
Of twilight birth
Playful and creative.
Scent of gardenias linger
Forever still in the air
Hide under grass blades
I loosen my garment,
Let it drift down to the floor,
Whilst crackling embers
In rhythmic movement
Dance in the fireplace,
To see the tidal wave
Of lust in thy eyes.
So, sensuous
Is the ornate fruit,
To stand
Submit to the whip
Upon thy back
And tremble with strength
For a taste of desire.
A gasp for favored love
Accept fire burning from within
Climb, carried in musical rhythm
Through endless night,
Entangle explosives bliss.

Tidal Wave

Tidal Wave

A rumble, a shift; deep in the abyss.
You would never even notice, a minor thing to miss.
The forces of the shock, move silently along.
On shore, the villagers; knew nothing to be wrong.

Closer and closer, the rippling of the waves.
A voice of Mother Earth; the laws of Newton’s slaves.
On the shelf it gathers, increasing in its might.
To build a Titan’s hand, and smash a deadly plight.

Up and up the water, a wall is rising high.
Blotting out the sun and the deeply azuring sky.
So terrible the Chaos, bursting forth the dam.
Annihilating the meek; the silencing of the lamb.

In moments it had ended, Quiet was the shore.
The village and its people, Terra made no-more.
The few that did survive; For loved ones, tears did flow.
Picked up their few possessions and sought a place to go.

No matter where you are, this land you are upon,
life it does not stop, the living shall go on.
Mother Nature gives us love, I believe it is her goal.
But sometimes she is harsh, extracting a heavy toll.

Premium MemberTidal Wave Waltz Poem For Contest

Waves
crashing;
then
breaking
on the beach.
Ebbing
and
flowing
tides controlled
by moon and earth.
Twice a day
high tides
and
low tides;
dancing waves
enchant
for
ever

The Tidal Wave

A tidal wave of disastrous proportions
will soon drench our evil sinful land,
it will be sent from the Father God Himself
and Jesus our Savior, sitting at His right hand.

For many people are praying for such a wave
and seeking God’s face like never before,
giving up the things of this world
and loving Jesus and the Word of God they truly do adore.

Looking as Elijah did when on earth it had
not rained for three and a half years,
seeking this wave of God by praying and fasting
and weeping before the Lord buckets of your tears.

Never being satisfied with a few drops
that from Heaven have already fallen,
but asking for the deluge of the great latter rain
and standing on the Word of God and what the prophets of old have spoken

We cannot be complacent now
when this wave is just about to come,
sweeping millions into the Kingdom by its wake
and helping to get this mighty harvest done.

So, will you also stand and pray and watch
and be ready for what our Almighty God is about to do,
for when this glorious harvest is done
He is coming again for me and for you.

The Tidal Wave

The Tidal Wave

I saw a tidal wave come in,
Raging winds and fierce water
Rushed,
Took the houses, cars, trees,
Street signs, park benches,
Pictures of loved ones
(Poor baby Louie, 3 years old washed away)
And along with all the power
It tore my heart out of my cage
And swept it out to the
Endless seas,
And the great white sharks
Have their way with my heart.

Now bleeding and dying,
Pain follows me,
And I close my eyes,
And wish it all to be done.
Pray for me, I want pain no more.
See tears fall from the corners of my eyes,
As I breathe in and feel no heartbeat.
And they all look at me,
Faces of nomads and they snicker
At me,
I hang my head and cry tears,
But the tears were washed
Away in the tidal wave,
So I sit there,
Eyes closed
And I sleep the night away.

Tidal Wave

At first she was scared,
Emotionally impaired,
But she cautiously came,
As my breeze called her name…
It blew through her hair,
With the scent of salt air,
While caressing her in,
The small gaps in linen…
So eager to soothe,
She starts to remove,
As she wade’s to come in,
So I’m close to her skin…
But just up to her waist,
While she begs me to taste,
Each time moving twice,
To be more precise…
At last comes the wave,
I’ve have waited to save,
So she covers again,
As she's drenched from within…

My Soul Like a Tidal Wave

My soul like a tidal wave is churning
All through the night
Some unspoken thing in me is yearning
All through the night

O come wrap your fair arms around me
Give my slumber peace
Tell me your love is for me only
And let my torment cease.

My mind like a ship westward wandering
All through the night
Berth me at the window of your slumbering
All through the night

O wake and see my lips so tremble
For the glass cold pane
I too would fly but fear dreams may tumble
To meaningless again.

Tidal Wave

Your love is like a tidal wave
Drowning me
Too mighty to escape
It overpowers me
Cannot run from you
Cannot avoid your wrath
