Tidal Wave

Submerge me. The waves beneath me, I struggle to stay above the surface, It feels like every little thing is against me. Belittling the backlash, As the waves of life fight against me. Just looking for solid ground, Save me a place to lay down. The journey has been rough And my problems are real. Give me strength to prevail. Chaos clouds clear waters Leaving the ocean floor stained. Create peace And spread it like a tidal wave. The power within is raw, Mericiless And it can kill. The forces of nature are real, My connection to the elements Makes me at home by the water. How something so vast and complex Can be all around us, Yet hold so many memories. From a trickle, To a fall Without tidal waves life wouldn't exist at all.
