Being a boater, I am quite aware of the tides. It really is a fascinating phenomenon. Great job, Jan! Good luck in the contest :)

Thanks Laura it is fascinating except when we get VERY high tides and there are properties that have been flooded in recent years - in the North of the Island it was so bad in one place there was a man canoeing along the high street - but this is thankfully rare! hugs Jan xx
