The Greenbrier's Tenacity

The Greenbrier's Tenacity

I am the root that refuses the drought. I am the vine that denies the clean edge of the saw. You curse my thorns and call me wilderness, but I am simply the will to live, unbound.
My stems are leather, supple and sharp. They climb without asking, weaving through the neat, clean rows, a dense, insistent, complicated love. I am the silent truth in the heart of the manicured yard: What is essential finds a way to endure.
My leaves are heart-shaped, glossy, and deep green, a constant, quiet declaration of presence. I do not wait for the season's approval; I am here, always, holding the space.
The root is the law: thick, stubborn, and vast. It is an anchor against the shifting soil, holding the memory of every rain and every hunger. You may cut me back to the bare earth, but the life force is only driven deeper.
When you finally surrender to my persistence, you will find the small, dark, blue-black cluster of berries. They are the food of the deep winter, a gift of unhurried survival.
I am the Greenbrier, the tough, thorny truth. I teach you that to cling is to conquer, and that the deepest strength is found in the refusal to rest.

Hang On, Hang On

I’ve been playing for years,
well aware of your fears,
most don’t make it, that’s clear,
but they say we’ve cracked the top ten;
a struggle it’s become,
but it always was one,
finally, it seems done,
downloads paying off dividends.

Hang on, hang on,
babe we’re almost there,
hang on, hang on,
we’ll get there.
So close to it
you better prepare,
hang on, hang on,
it’s right there!

Take a chance on my dream,
not a sure thing, it seemed,
of the crop I’m not the cream,
spent so many ate nights away.
I know you could have left,
parents said that was best,
maybe we passed the test,
we’re coming on a good payday!

Hang on, hang on,
babe we’re almost there,
hang on, hang on,
we’ll get there.
So close to it
you better prepare,
hang on, hang on,
it’s right there!

All that went wrong,
we’ve been waiting for so long,
all my mistakes,
challenges along the way.
all of this risk,
making sure I earned this,
breakthrough, at last,
no more days of living fast!

Hang on, hang on,
babe we’re almost there,
hang on, hang on,
we’ll get there.
So close to it
you better prepare,
hang on, hang on,
it’s right there!

HOW COULD I??

CHERRY WAVES
HEARTS I CRAVE

lust is a battle
don't see me waver
lust is a savor

savoryyyy
honey, ur so sweet
my delectable treattt
coming home with me?

no?

okkk

I never thought it could be this way
But now my honey's left me astray
She never thought to stay
My darling girl has ran away

Her name was Vanessa
Golden hair to her toes
Vanessa, my queen
I never gave you a rose

A love so unfair
It couldn't be shared
My darling girl is done
Up in smoke, vanished in air

I love my dear
This is true
It's just as sincere
That I love you

Through turmoil and valleys
We climb together
Through treacherous journeys
We faced the weather

No matter the time
We're always better together
I love you, sweet girl
Did you get this letter?

The door is closed
The shutter down
No voices heard
Now out of town

Portcullis, locks
A barricade
Small chance to rescue
What was made

The landing pad
A storm does seize
To wildest rush
From gentle breeze

Out to lunch
Back in five
Lost moments where
A heart did thrive

I missed a memo
No call to chat
Thumbs-up emoji
That is that?

A one-way street
Without reverse
A mystery
Perhaps a curse

What's done is done
Some may say
But heroes find
A better way

To rescue friendship
To seek the truth
It's old school faithful
Yes, foresooth

Place on the armour
Grab sword..Away!
We live to love
Another day

ME LADY THE SPIDER

There was once an arachnid, a colorful spider,
Who climbed up and down a ladder,
Her name was “Me Lady”,
Whose affection for males was somewhat shady.
Spinning her web for her babies, no doubt,
Hundreds and thousands of eggs she lay,
Moving sideways, spinning in and out all day.
“Me Lady” spun the most awesome webs,
Like an ocean – a tide comes in, then ebbs,
The envy of all the spiders in the woods
Magnificent colors, long spindly legs,
She enjoyed displaying these goods.
Their pantry needed filling, “Me Lady” alert,
A fly no had no chance, “Me Lady”would divert
Herself from the sticky place in the web,
But ants, moths, caterpillars, and the like,
Doomed, being a mother needed tenacity,
And required loads of energetic capacity.
Naturally, her specialty and choice, a cobweb.
Out of thousands of eggs, maybe a 100 survived,
To go off into the world and follow mom’s rules,
Out-living thousands of siblings was not for fools.

Premium Member Pursue Your Dreams

Dreams are the essence of life
Life is void without dreams

Whatever life throws at you
Pursue your dreams with determination

Hold onto your dreams with ruthless tenacity
Hold onto your dreams no matter the challenges

Cause the road to success is not paved with gold
It is strewn with thorns and distractions

Overcoming challenges gives dreams their meaning
Happiness is an illusion

It can only become a reality
As you put your hands on the plough
And pursue your dreams without looking back

Like a Diamond

Give me more pressure;
Generate the gem in me
Just like a diamond.

Ududo

The spider created the web and is part of it
After tenacious intricate measured manoeuvres
A system is created to house, protect and feed
Isolated from all yet a complete assembly of all

It originates the networks from its being
A substance stronger than all metals known
With no assistance nor educational exposure
Wisdom and knowledge is in Nature for free

Alone it builds and lives separated from all
Unmindful of the troubles of the life around it
Satisfied in the web modelled after the universe
Each strand performing functions beyond the eyes

Serenity

Its irony, how things turn out to be
The past redeemed in to boundless me
I have appreciated the shadiest times and sentiment
They put up a resilient state of my thought
That day I moaned a torrent out of the wounded heart
I fail to recall that now, melt away on that spot

The dreadful and horrific eras generated marvelous mentality
To sense the throne or the rose was a prime of my Tenacity
The groove of my bed was a comfort to feel amenity
I reached the highest point of understanding out of my pain
Serenity and relief embedded hope to attain
Wiped away my tears through the storm and hurricane
I went numb washed away my dizziness in the rain
I got it all, set and maintain
It’s about not thinking while having a brain.

Premium Member Agility and Tenacity

A bustling presence doesn't infer inactivity.
Showing improvement with a crucial flurry.

Prance ecstasy embracing a harsh ignite.
Self-start binge; don't leave behind a Dwight.

With verve and enthusiasm and consistently in awe.
Work never finishes, and objectives won't ever overdraw

Poise unblemished, musings precise, cerebrum contriving.
Embrace morals and allow them to tackle directing.

Being significant, something to depend solely around.
It makes sense that progress is being found.

Optimism

Choice, I really had none
I sat alone and cried
I tried my very best
As best as could be done
But I failed totally
I could be anyone
Yet it happened to me
And I am all alone
But then at least I tried
My very best I tried
Alas, I could have won!
