Premium Member Dancing Stars

The stars in the sky throw a party at night
A million twinkling points of light.
They come and invite me as a guest
To witness the dance and judge the contest.

The Big Dipper’s ladle scoops the dark
Orion the hunter leaves his mark.
Twinkling stars jig and jive
While shooting stars take a dive.

A million tiny diamonds bright
Scattered high across the night.
The moon, a giant disco ball
That casts a glow upon them all.

No music plays, but silence sings
Of distant worlds and wondrous things.
The next time you see a starry throng
Remember the party goes on all night long!

Expectation

High hopes built on imaginations
And human frailties
A meandering mirage on hot tarmac at noon
A recipe for hunger

In hollow voices, whisper winds of expectations among the trees
Drowned by the reality of sunrise
Gaze upon the hills with starved emotions
And welcome the verity of dawn

Expectations take a dive
When reality fails to thrive
Illusion—the gateway to delusion
Expect nothing, avoid disappointment
Spend and be spent, hope for the best
Find solace within
Peace lies only in the deep

Salad of ignorance, emotions and negativity is a recipe for grief
Nourish not the nattering nitwits
Lest you swim in a pool without water

Intertwine twins of triumph and tragedy—
A constant memento of life and death
Purge yourself of dead weights

Happiness lies within
Only extract the worries
Every success has a process

Out of the belly flows contentment—the
Opium ushering upliftment and fulfilment

Fields of Chaos

Fields of Chaos
Amid the fields of chaos, we must establish some order,
we cannot let anarchists run amuck,
we can not let our democracy die this way.

They are people who can't be constructive,
Know only how to be destructive,
now we must strive not to take a dive.
My dearest BBG thank you for a lovely evening, I think I have suffered an overdose of love, and I can't wait to see the type of relationship which begins with "until death do us part" thank you for the loving spasm. © 17 mins ago, Terence Cummings Smith

Premium Member My Robotic Surgeon R26475

Here is R26475
He’s your surgeon, head of ward Five.
I have no word
This seems absurd
But he actually kept me alive.

Thank you R26475
Both knees are fixed, I can take a dive.
You helped me so much
My toes I can touch.
You’ve given me back my groove and jive.

Premium Member Local Girl

I’m the girl who sits in the bar,
drunk on the music
never touching the alcohol;

The quiet one in the shadows
who knows all the words,
In and out like a banshee
but back for every show;

The one whose drug is the rhymes,
I’m not there to get lit;
Addicted to the rhythm,
reckless on repeat;

You may say it’s the bar
where the trouble happens;
I’ll take a dive bar with a band
over a restaurant and bad decisions;

Like everything else
it’s a matter of perception;
Call me a black rose,
the local girl in the back;

Don’t  tell me the problem is the venue
filled with nothin’ but soul;
The problem is people
just begging for bouncers.

Premium Member The Race

The Race

Click-ity clack,
the wagon tools along,
the road;
as fast as it can go.
The wheel(s) barely…
hanging on.

That is how we run through life,
riding on three of four,
or maybe half footed,
left footed,
or even…
three toed.

Slow down,
the race can not be won.
It has already finished.
He was, Is and Always,
will be.

I am trying to stop the chaos,
I am desperate to slow it down.
The world does not care,
about my life,
or yours, or yours.. or…
It is in a hurry to rush for the cliff,
to take a dive off the edge,
into the abyss…
and then.

Breathe…
Him in
and you will know…peace.
Take Him in…
and you will find…
empathy, mercy and compassion.
Choose him…
humility, service and love.

Ever grateful for what is not deserved.
Ever bowing and knowing,
that there is no greater privilege
than to be among the counted.

You, me, we…
bought and paid for,
beyond the measure of our ability…
to count.

Who Am I

Who am I?
I am a dreamer
A dreamer who wants to be another person
And this person exists only in this realm
She can sing
She can dance
She is loved by all
She is wanted by all
She does everything right
She can do everything right
She is like a wave
A raging wave that never collapse
Or reach the beach
Will she ever reach the beach?
Will she realize that reality is mocking her right now?
Will she ever come out of the realm?
So who am I?
Am I stuck between the black and white world of reality and my own creative world of imagination?
Let me take a dive into my mind and see..
Oh my gosh! I'm dating Spider-Man!

Depths of the Imagination

Let your imagination take a dive
Dismiss those voices willing it to soar,
Explore the secrets hidden to mankind
And gaze at sights you've never seen before.

Take a deep breath then silently descend;
Leave restless shores and anxious thoughts behind.
Deep in the fearless ocean's azure realm,
Enchanted landscapes captivate your mind.

A world of wonders passes slowly by
As free from bonds of gravity you glide.
Through living waters rich in vibrant life
Kaleidoscopic colours coincide.

Fine gossamer of fragile life cascades
Down to the luring coral reef below,
A ballet of exotic fish parade
As bioluminescent starfish glow.

When life's adventures dangle out of reach,
Imagination holds the magic key
Just close your eyes and dare to take the plunge
To open seas of possibility.

Semper Fideles

I’m a victim of this life.

cursed by God, a poisoned mind
perhaps if I lacked the sight,
at peace I’d be, for beauty blinds.

I, a violent child.

Waterfalls, song, paintings and poem.
Mountains, thunder, this world and beyond it.

Heaven and hell, angels that fell
I stand among them, seeking their hell
for I am now cursed, cursed to be breathing,
so I make sure, I burn as I’m fleeting.

I, so, very tired

have lost all control.
I write what I feel, not what I hope.
For I am now stranded, on one lonely boat,
the storm it is rising, let’s hope I can float.

I, in search for divine
drink their poison, sweet as wine.

For the waves they calm through time.

Like a drop of rain would take a dive
in shallow ponds and thinks it’s climbed,
the sky to sink in oceans,
we grew to feast in lies

and now so pretty, red roses
ignorance is wise.

The Colour I Belong To

Is neither of the first light
Of imposing dawn
Nor of the worst flight
Of impending storm

It's not of Autumn's dew
Neither is it of spring's hue
Do not ask rainbows
Take your eyes off flying Crows

Do not ask the sea, trees and the others
For I belong to none of their colours

Take a dive into your heart
Swim the core of its parts
The colour I belong to,
Is the love you see and every bit of kindness too

To Really Appreciate Loves High's

The harmony that we feel is the real deal
And is so worth the fight
Baby, we need to treat each other right
Let's never be mean or pick a fight
The magic we share is worth the care
Finding our calling is like not falling

When we are aware
Instead of being in despair
Allowing ourselves time to compare
Having a love as rare as ours
Is like dancing among the stars

Stepping back when we feel under attack
Will help us stay on track
To keep us from falling back
This way when we have a bad day
We don't feel like we want to play
Then we just meet in the middle
Like a dancing fiddle
understanding we need to give a little

Being able to put yourself on the other side
Before it becomes a bumpy ride
When It's much easier to just let it slide
Finding a place to chill
So we don't let it put us into overdrive

This will allow our love to thrive
Instead of letting our love take a dive
We will be on top of the world very much alive
Able to magnify our love to touch the sky
You and I able to look each other in the eyes
To really appreciate love high's

Lake Fright Swim

Come on in the water feels fine

Let the temperature cool off your mind

But beware the fish below

Are known to try to chew off your toes

Try not to get to close

They are starving for human meat

They will chew up and eat you alive

So get ready to take a dive

It is fun but you won't come out alive

The bloody color in the lake

Was just a simple turn of fate

So take a chance and hop on in

The waters red and plenty delight

So won't you come swim with me tonight

I am sure you will enjoy

What's in store for your mind

When you get your bones will grind

The fish in here will change your outlook

Just look at me and what they took

Now no more can I see

No more false labeled empathy

So come in now relax the pains of yours

And become a part of the shores

Motherland

Let me take you on a journey to my motherland.
Where beauty meets the eye of the beholder.
Where the sun burns and glistens on my brown skin.
Where the children play freely with no care in the world
Where the market place stands like a rainbow with different coloured materials
Where there are 54 countries.
Standing together to make up my motherland.
Where culture is amazingly fascinating
Where a great leader once lived.
Where they are mouth-watering fruits.
I have to say my motherland is worth the visit.
Glide through the safari,
Take a dive in the Victoria Falls if you dare,
Jive with the Maaasai tribe,
Receive the experience of a lifetime.
I have to say my motherland is worth the visit.

Black Is Allergic To Black

As we unfold the sad stories untold,
Behold to observe all, our hearts hold.
Our soil is wet of blood of the bold.
I wish their talents could be dugout
Like platinum, diamond and gold.
Some were sold to die, yet not old...

Boredom is freedom with no kingdom
We're dethroned and lost like Sodom.
We forgot for which we stood for:
Drew a line that our fear had to repair,
So we for lack of trust in team despair.

Fine was all it went as a result of fight
We fought to be equally granted right.
Thine and mine eye made one in sight
Together our team couldn't fright, now
We retire in desire that fuels the fire
Of hope which construct blacks empire.

Black believes bury the poor blacks alive
Into one big-black-grave we take a dive,
Priests deceive innocent souls for wealth
The reason members struggle for health.

Premium Member Playing the Game

PLAYING THE GAME

He leans back, his hand hidden from view.
far back in a cocky sort of way.

A player spies a young woman, innocently, walking by,
decides to change the fortune of his competitor.

The young woman turns red, as he shouts,
“Do you want to make love?”

The competition falls behind
His four aces, take a dive.
He feels the wind and the knots.
Reeling, he’s lost his shot.

“Sorry man, let’s do this again someday”
He chuckles and walks
away with his earnings,
Asks the girl out.

“Perhaps, someday,” she says
and walks away in that flirty kind of way.
