I Got It

I Got It

The eternal and beautiful love you cast into my soul!
the gentle ways you heal my worries and cares
The loving heart you gave , letting me think I stole!
purity as white as Spring's sweet love renewing airs

So many joys and nights of pure deep loving thrills
words whispered in madly passionate haste
Love's sweetest milk drank with never any great spills
love's food consumed with never any waste

The devotion that inspires me to deeply love again
to run ahead yet again without any dark fears
To believe, to say sincere prayers ending with Amen
to feel joy so deeply my blue eyes flood with tears.

Written this morn for my wife to find in her purse later this afternoon when she

Love communicated is love truly shared, a double blessing showered from above. Gorgeously expressed poetry, Robert! May love and more love be given to the both of you always.

Thank you Richard. My wife is a very sweet and generous person. She rewards me awesomely for my efforts to "win her heart" every week of our ten year marriage! She is one of my blessings!!

So sweet of you, Robert. I bet she's also head over heels in love with all your poems. Just lovely, I'm melting. <3

Thanks my friend... However my wife rarely reads any of my poems unless they are sent to her. Her time is spent doing her college studies, family duties and raising our son. Sometimes she asks me to show her a really good one I wrote. I then get to choose with bias one of my favorites.

Thank you my friend. We both are truly blessed. However , I've been far more blessed than she simply because is a true blessing herself!
