Life's Menu

The world is a feast
hosting many beasts
lodging its beings
In a palace of bliss
Serving mystery meals
with knives and forks
tending to fangs and claws
Ripping through life’s menu
Feeding on scorn
Feeding on hate
Feeding on the love of men
Lavishly Catering out despairs
Stylishly rummaging
through the hopes
Spreading buffets
of selected illusions
spiced with chaos

Serene Sunlover shines

Sun seeking sunflowers' stalks stand stylishly sleek
Bite birds, butterflies on beat before blazing blooms
Farm fields fire-up framing fascinating flourish
Gushing green grass giggle with girlish gaiety
Still soil sings soulful song to silent seeping saps
Reaper respectfully rallies with rapt rapture.

COLLECTIONS

elegant effervescent
stylishly
arranged
savoured
in complexity
 encounters
with the past
 tenderness
interacting
with
enthusiasm
 throughout

to
 become
 a touchstone
 of
human cost
of the
 realities
 of  sheer desperation
yet
 the magnetism
 lives on
in
warm memories
for
who has a winning hand?

Premium MemberFrowziness

The epitome of frowziness
Unkempt, with a dash of wild
Stylishly disheveled
Beneath an unexpected
Yellow bow.

Soft stains accentuate
The drape of her dress
Highlighting invisible features
Pencil drawing
On a moving canvas

Gliding smoothly
In unlaced ballet slippers
Leaving no trace
But the hint
Of her presence

Turnt

Percolating, who we, I’m just relating
Relaying the conveying of alarming apex
Son’s getting hotter, sending flares, scorching heirs
The roof is on fire, but folks serving gas in meme
Unleaded or maybe I’m just fed up in believing the lies
Telling me mines don’t matter, from cats living fatter
Digging deeper than the greeting of slaps of five
Laid down a line, reverberating sublime, wind chimes
Chasing dog-gone familiars to frailty in comforting confines
Same ole, same old, just ain’t that old, as far as we go
No more, I know more, looking at a latch off unlocked doors
Mirrors from ceiling to floors, stylishly prefaced or just pre-fab
Looking glass, shatters from just one blinking, 2b thinking in turn
Thoughts never random, so I hand them pieces of rind to define
Seasoned for taste, or just aroma, smelling like wake up all baked up
Reeling off feelings, fleeting yesterdays, recalled to question or lesson
All in the daze, our revolution could never just be a faze, even nowadays
So watch out and peep the come around in what’s happening again…..

Premium MemberIt Is Another Spring

It is another spring
It is a brand new season
Another day of light rain falling
Another semi-sunny day again
And another occasion of witnessing
And enjoying the bulbs blossoming
Where many blue chicks are chirping
Imitating multitude colorful sparrows
Which are cheerfully singing
In the sky, and where two twin rainbows
Are stylishly stationing there
Like two cool bears who dare
Pausing for a Sunday afternoon picture
It’s a wonderful hour
Oh! Perfect is the temperature
And magnificent is Mother Nature
It’s a new season again
It’s another day in Eden.

I would design a lady kilt that’s quaint
midst my modest apparel preference
adorned with elegance without restraint.
considering its Scottish reference

While promoting church fashion that’s wholesome
I would design a lady kilt that’s quaint
such women-prayer warriors do welcome
as they seek God's grace; in faith, not to faint.

Accentuating nature in fabric paint
creating along fashionable flair
I would design a lady kilt that’s quaint
showcasing clothing for Women’s Month fair.

Stylishly inspired with global feature
crafted uniquely against tribal taint
believing in good blending of culture
I would design a lady kilt that’s quaint.

That's my mom
Foot on running board
Big, black,1937 Caddy
Huge headlights
Spare tires in fenders
Cigarette in hand
Stylishly dressed
Turban and flowing pants
Big smile
Clyde's Bonnie never looked so good
...Great photo

Here she is again
50's drab house dress
Cigarette in hand
Expressionless
My mom
...Sad photo

Premium MemberCreative Conformity

I have a lovely daughter, who is a lovely mess,
for every rule you give her, she will have to test.
She’s always just inside the lines or balanced on the top.
She loves to challenge all the rules to see how they will flop.

My favorite of her hurdles was the school uniform,
and she was delighted to best this strict form of norm.
A uniform would be an insult to her fashion sense.
As her mother, I suspected the rules would soon be mince.

She wore exactly what they said: khakis, belt, white top.
You've probably guessed, though thusly dressed she did not stop.

Smiling like an actress in a play,
she wore a striped scarf with red beret.
Her belt was wide and trendy,
her shoes, black boots to knee.

A voguish olive blazer was her “coat.”
Stylishly outfitted
and with the rules outwitted,
the books she carried seemed a lighter tote...

The "book bag," after all, was a fabulous new purse!
and...
Her creative conformity sent the principal to the nurse.

There is something to be learned here, as I reflect on this bright girl.
Without the rules before them, there’d be no rebels in the world.

Gareth Southgate

I remember nineteen ninety six
like it was yesterday - the penalty
the way that Gareth kicked the ball and missed
I bet he never thought that day that he
would ever be back in the game again
his name engraved in Lions' hearts, their
lips aflame with songs of praise, and men
in waistcoat shops, and women swooning where
he might have been. You've got to love a man
who wears his pride so modestly, who's cute
who wears a new suit stylishly, who can
(if dream we dare) bring home the Cup to boot
If on that fateful day he'd walked away
we wouldn't be here, would we. Let us play.

Identified

He shall come in time,
Like no other before
Like no song ever sung
Like no flower ever bloomed
He shall come
Walking like no other
With eyes keen on you
Dressed stylishly
With an accent only you can understand
And you shall know that it is he,
And he shall come
In unknown colors only revealed to you
Only known to you
Straight down he shall come to you,
From a flying saucer
Yeah, from a UFO

The Elitist's Bliss

How far we've come,
they like to claim.
To more than some,
so much the same.
Stand up, applaud, u must be proud!
But how when bias screams so loud?
People look, open your eyes;
this dish is still a plate of lies.

Oh, back then it was a bias-filled
nightmarish life to have to live;
Colors, race, religion drilled,
Untold souls their last breaths did give
To fight and beg for equality
throughout all of humanity.

Are you paying heed?
Is your conscience dead?
Watch thirst and greed
trick-turn in your head.
You just construct one more excuse to prey
upon those whom believe unlike your way.

What an ugly cloak tis vanity.
Twirl and flash it stylishly.
Though what you show to all is bigotry.
The universe sees the horrific game;
shed the denial. In the mirror, shame.

Where I Stand

As Long as I can see, I'll wear my sins to the sea; That is where I will be so long as you breath.
You can meet me by the shore, Where the untutored youth vaunt stylishly like babylon whore's; Where sinning is normal and we are accepted in the false forgeries of this world for our love is just embers burning, here is where my love shall stay, beautiful as a summers day.
