with the high cost of living these days
It's difficult to understand
how people with a low income can survive
It's beyond my comprehension
they need assistance from somewhere
A rich uncle good investing at an early age
winning the lottery maybe all of the above
Yes these are very stressful times

Stressful Journey

Poet's journey, start to end-
filled with some stress to attend.
Captive once it has begun-
till a poem is all done.

When the poem is complete,
the road traveled becomes sweet-
knowing the goal has been met!

Stressful Minds of the Divorced

Oh how I loved thee contrary to time, and space - my mind slips the present into the future----tense.

Sleep Thief

Once again, sleep evades me
Weary and worried, I lie awake
Struggling to quiet my anxious mind
The relentless 'why's' and 'what if's'
And the self-deprecating thoughts stealing my slumber

A complicated dilemma and a tough choice
An outcome and a consequence
Does my head know best?
Why does my heart feel otherwise?
Not sure the odds are in my favour

I continue to toss

I Sigh

I sigh when I say good morning 
And I’m stuck listening to the
Negativity and problems of
Someone else's day
I sigh when my computer
Runs slow or the internet crashes
That puts me behind
In my work
I sigh at how the
Cost of living is rising quickly
Without any remorse for
The elderly
I sigh at how the
Minimum wage is 
So low that the

Memories

You are in my memories, 
You are in my heart .
Never be solitary,
Never be apart .
You are my raw , 
I make your craft.

Stressful Students

You study hard, to get good grads
and with all that stress, you have made the grade

When you have finished, you bring out a sigh
and then you plan, to party with the clan

With all those drinks, you’ll get rid of stress
but when you wake, you’ll feel so fake

Every Minute Palpitation In Covid War

Agreeable Dawn for a   
  In though a blade 
     No other goal .... "Go just bounce around"
       Every clump made me haggle with fate 
Twinkle in my lips at the end of walk

Why is everybody scheming
To be dishonest and mean
Why can't people just come clean
And admit when they are wrong
Its not weak, it makes you strong
To be human and at fault
So there's no need to assault

Modern life is stressful they say
Nothings right or wrong, everything gray
So before you start your day
Get on your knees before God and pray

And as you drive to your daily task
Keep talking to God and wisdom ask
And keep talking to Him from dawn to dusk
Tell Him everything dont be brasque

I have to manualy relax my jaws
