I’m playing Jenga, at a social group. At a social group, playing Jenga I’m. The best block to take out is the middle one — not an absolute, but two left either side sounds solid. Two left either side sounds solid — the best block to take out is the middle one, not an absolute. We are playing for a photoshoot for the social group’s new website, so I purposely remove a crucial block to knock over the tower. For the social group’s new website to knock over the tower, I remove purposely a crucial block, so we are playing for a photoshoot. The photographer wasn’t ready, though. Though, the photographer wasn’t ready. Twice, we’ve rebuilt the tower so he could get a photo of it falling. So he could get a photo of it falling, we’ve rebuilt the tower twice. He didn’t get the shot the time second. The second time, he didn’t get the shot. Third time lucky. Lucky time third.
After the Jengaful afternoon, we wish each other a nice eve. We wish each other a nice eve, after the Jengaful afternoon. Words fall as water, then Jenga into towers.
As water, words fall.
As Jenga, words tower.

DO YOU KNOW DONNIE
I present
my strategy:
a dignified tower
constructed entirely
of questionable choices
and one slightly hopeful
thought.
I sit beside it,
perfectly docile,
like a guard dog that
only guards snacks
and even then
not well.
then comes
the facetious
breeze—
that tiny smirk
the universe gives
right before nudging
and the
tower
leans—

I dreamt about serene living
I aimed to make it a reality

Feels herself falling to pieces
In a basket collects the shattered fragments
Fears she’s losing the battle

I see right through you,
you can play dumb all you want

It's criminal what women'll do
to keep a man down on the farm
shed false tears strategy I fear
pull the wool turn on the charm
smiling all the while
trap him wrap him twist him
round her little finger
and insist it seems
should he linger longer than
appropriate she deems
for him to appreciate
'til he's tongue-tied up in knots
with all those forget-me-nots
keeping her the centre of his attention
not to mention the apple of his eye
starting with Eve it's now a far cry
from his ambition ever coming to fruition
should he cave in and comply

Monocrostic (Birthday of Imie E. Pacatang)
She smiled like sin in silk—
slow, sweet, and sharp beneath.
He kissed her anyway.
Called it love.
She called it
strategy.
Like a storm in a teacup, You turned nothing
into something blown up, from a small thing.
Everywhere's your ground to pick up a fight.
You should know war is not won by might
But by great strategy and clear planning
not just by being pretty and enchanting.
Stop just being a mere trouble maker.
Rather, try being an active parttaker
Who is ready for a positive change.
Even when done in ways strange.
Your real worth still no way lost.
Nothing much will be the cost,
Still, no day pass you don't doubt yourself.
Yet you've all it takes, there on your shelf.
my alter ego
I neither deny nor hide
I let it loose abundantly

Waste your energy
Lose the game
Save your energy
The game is yours
When you pull
And try to hold immediately
Another one who is constantly holding
Gets an advantage in that small moment
Cause while you try to hold
You also try to balance your body
And strength for the holding phase
Hold preserves center of gravity
So you don't topple forward or backward
While Slow Pulls gives you an advantage
Since you're moving backwards
But risks toppling backwards
Since the center of gravity moves as the body moves
Humans walk on two legs without tails
Making them unstable
Furthermore, tug of war
Is a game of strength and stamina
Slow pulls makes you exert energy more than Hold.
Life is convoluted
Coming across happiness and sorrow
Love and betrayal
Hunger and riches
Steering through the opposites
Consistency with the confrontations
Saps the solace
Tired and broken, no longer thoughtful
One counters the events
The wise ones see similarity in all
Allow the things to happen
Spontaneity breeds many paths
One continues to walk, brightness unfolds
Calm waters greet, spring returns
Past is past, oblivion overwhelms
Smiles, zest and thrill embrace
Bad is gone, good overtakes
Life is a game, reconciliation is the key
