You scorn the work my chisel made,
Yet you have never held the blade.
You see the flaws, call them mistakes,
But you have no idea what it takes.
It’s easy to point the finger with empty hand,
To stand high ashore and sound so grand.
But the sea never hears from those aground,
Only from those swimming safe and sound.
I won’t explain the things I’ve done.
For you have no idea why it's so fine-spun.
Instead, I'll hand the control over to you,
Hiding the hurt and pain that I'm going through.
Let’s see if you can match your claim.
When no one else will share your blame.
Because flipping the game your way,
Is the only way you'll beg me to stay.
I won’t confront and fight your claims.
Because I know you enjoy those games,
Where you deride my skills and learning,
With phony debates that are so undiscerning.
Don’t judge my journey; you've not trod that way.
Step aside, let me continue; get out of the way.
If you think it’s so simple; I'll let you try and fail.
Don’t mock the captain, 'til you've faced the gale.

Every step a blessing to climb
Foot by Foot approach
Step by Step at a time
Minute to the hours
Step up
The chosen
Precision Heaven walk
Granted by Courage
Established by Determination
Supported by Faith
Maneuvering through the atmosphere
The target being the kingdom
Guided through the way
Earth being the gateway beyond
Wisdom that follows
Everlasting promise
Pearly Gates Open
Angel’s welcome
Step by Step fulfilled
Granted through the Lord’s acceptance

Ukraine's army is battle-ready, battle-tested
The rest of Europe's forces, merely rested
None have fought in many a year
Them fighting Russia moves one to tears
Defending Ukraine is NATO's best bet
with its tough-as-nails army
and the fierce will of its people to survive ~
thinking Poland or France can lick Russia is blarmy
Zelensky's warned you as much, Western leaders
but you've all chosen to be cheerleaders
The blood's on your hands for taking a dive
if nobody in Europe is left alive

I for 1
Am all for taking
The next big step up
So long as that next step
Doesn't require anyone
Stepping on or over
Those who 1st helped them take
baby steps
That lead you to the bottom step and
in doing so inspired your desire to climb
at all
Like when after winning a major
tournament achieving said sought
success
The second after you sack that very
coach that got you and set you on
your winning way and path
Then stepping on or over there dreams
is a price worth willing to pay
Rather not a step to far
Because to me that would be a
crushing blow
And the greatest loss or all
Because any victory devoid without
one's friends to compliment and
celebrate with
Is as hollow and as empty as
the heart that is willing to cast's aside
Those who should mean the most
Simply in order to get what they want

Heroes are not born or bread
They proactively step up
And pre-fix things
Wait until Uncle Lester gets here.
He will know what to do
Especially if he brings Aunt Inez.

STEP UP
Been down too long step up
Fell on the ground step up
Lost touch with God pray up
Now He hasn't left me
I left Him, He's always by my side
I choose to not anymore deny
I'll hold His hand He forever continues to hold mine
Now and everlasting for eternity
Been down too long step up
Fell on the ground step up
Lost touch with God pray up
Now He hasn't left me although I often leave Him
Now He hasn't left me
I left Him, He's always by my side
I choose to not anymore deny
I'll hold His hand He forever continues to hold mine
So I step up

I gotta get my head straight
I know whats waiting
Ive been there
Ì`ve stood at hell`s gate
Instead of destroying
I`ve decided I`ll try to create
taking the steps to start fresh
Let`s call it a clean slate
I see there can be more to life
than being a decomposing pile of flesh
riddled with hate and strife
Yes my world may be a mess
but I have a choice of my path
I need not distress
like a phoenix i can rise from the ash
or
I can take the easy way out
and embrace death`s alluring caress
With those around me
I need to be honest and open
not leaving what needs to be said
lost in the ether
unspoken

STEP UP BLACK MAN

Ambitious and dogged determined, a dreamer is he
Never contented to be held in any form of captivity
Never allowing one's self to be treated insignificantly
Like an eagle is he, always longing to be free
Never knowing how far one could go, a visionary is he
The broad and open spaces are where he longs to be
Sometimes going north, looking east, returning south
But settling out West, where eagles build their nests
Although strong and steady like an old oak tree
Yet he roams outside the box, a trail blazer is he
Maybe never gaining the success as he dreamed he would
But kept on working, doing the very best that he could
Hoping to finish the race like he knows he should
Zeal and speed are great, as we all agree
But if it's "a finisher" that you really want to be,
The spirit of dedication, discipline, and endurance is the key
Many there are who may be called to be great starters
Some there are who drop the ball and are frozen in the middle
Fewer still are those who boldly step up to become the great finishers

I read this little challenge, step up and lose,
a so-called villain lookin' to be abused
i'm your Randy Johnson, you're my John Kruk
high and tight words dude,ya better duck,
step up to my plate with your childish hate
heat seeking fastballs will settle your fate
who at the soup do you deem unworthy
when the phrase you exclaim appears to be blurry
STEP UP AND LOSE...sure'nuff if you choose
better grab your crotch, before them fastballs turn BLUE....
:).......hey,that was kinda fun !!!

Many of you claim to be the best.
But silly little children prepare to fail this test.
You try you fail.
Im the wolf you the stupid
dog that chases its tail.
A razor blade tongue just as sharp my wit.
Breaking the simple minds.
The weak always quit.
I pick my battles careful so should you.
Just as has begun.
You find it's through.
I am the villan I thirst apon your
hate.
If you thirst for destruction
then step apon the plate.
I am your reaper take a number
and get in line.
Far beyond a childish destroyer
so many victems ive left behind.
Anyone wants to lose there welcome to
try.
