Who Will Step Up

Ukraine's army is battle-ready, battle-tested
  The rest of Europe's forces, merely rested
None have fought in many a year
  Them fighting Russia moves one to tears

Defending Ukraine is NATO's best bet
  with its tough-as-nails army
and the fierce will of its people to survive ~
  thinking Poland or France can lick Russia is blarmy

Zelensky's warned you as much, Western leaders
  but you've all chosen to be cheerleaders
The blood's on your hands for taking a dive
  if nobody in Europe is left alive

Yet we see an unending arms race. There are no need for borders too, for humanity is one race. The problem of mankind goes in much deeper. Joseph P. DiMino March 5, 2022 at 6:43 PM Not one American Soldier should enter that fight, before Europe makes a commitment. If we need defend our NATO alliance, than so be it. But Europe needs to expend its own resources and blood. As far as guilt goes, we had a President, Trump, who was keeping peace in the world -- who was constantly attacked by lies and treachery. And then an election stolen from him. With the world now falling apart, is there a Liberal democrat willing to look into the eyes of suffering, and admit their own contribution? Joseph P. As for Europe first, before us: When did we stop leading the way? -- With Obama, and (a little less so) with Trump. The world is waiting for us to rally Europe and go in together. Otherwise, build your bomb shelter, my friend. The Russo-Sino alliance (pact soon to be signed) will be here after Europe falls. ~ My opinion, of course. And I understand that we disagree, so just sayin'...

I pray and hold my breath that no other country falls prey to a takeover.
