TWO
Two Fragrant Lily Winged Creatures
Spiral above Twin Towers with Snow White Steeples
The Moons eyes Smile towards them
Two Lips Whisper secrets in each ear
Two Thousand Tulips Sing in Thunderous Ovation
Two Tears Fall from Heavens Creation
Two Souls Entwined in mirrored Exaltation

Fire starter using flame
To burn kill destroy lame
What is your end game
To make money to gain
California she suffers so
Set ablaze her forests glow
People steeples burning red
Hard to watch tears are shed
What is the reason or cause
Arson or accident or natures fault
Too many questions strange to see
Insurance cancelled those policies
God help California prevail
As we watch these fires from hell
May the truth be a breeze with sail
Blowing in peace where water fails

Magic twirling in the air
in forms of song, of magic, of love
to compare
Song of a people
Lifting the magic in their hearts
to tops of steeples
velvet strands
of thin blue light magic
over the lands
Bring us to life
Shake us to sing ourselves
over the land

In the house of commons, in Canada there's a problem' well
Your Damien; yes' he got wordy, and the speaker.?? He got nerdy.?
A word that denotes mis-truth; apparently not there; in use.?
In that place, it is a no no.' I never thought it would be so?
Controversial and affronting, in the place of egalat'e where
They even praised; that nazi.?? I thought it a misnomer; yet
No chance.? And like some loner, the M P who held to his
Reasons?? got denied access; for a season.' I think he took
One for the people? so i'll shout this from the steeples.'
His action served even the street, of liberals' he got booted
By the snooty, in the service of true unity, i reason that
Canadians of every type, should value Damien.' If you
See him out just greet him..In the greatness of the season
Take the chance, shake his hand; denying this dis-reason.'
(And the liar.? You know what? My history says.. Forgot! )

People
By
J. A. Long
People are people regardless of
Ethnicity and history
Even in feeble steeples
During the Christmas season
Which is the coldest time In America
People are proverbial birds
In need of proverbial seeds
But are not interested in searching
For those seeds which are at proverbial bird feeders
People are all somewhat different
Some are friendlier than others
And some are more accepting than others
Even at Christmas time-be open to them

Ever-changing Autumn, its shapes and shades.
Fanning breath stirs the heavily laden;
transforms and redraws like playful charades,
prepping, and grooming, all the misshapen.
A pastor's mural paints pure from trespass,
ever-changing Autumn, its shapes and shades.
Prismatic design grounds tell-tale stained glass
and forest steeples are Redwood's crusades.
Kids taking the plunge, multihued cascades,
succumb to trampling and crushing horseplay.
Ever-changing Autumn, its shapes and shades,
the bejeweled waits: Sunday's white bouquet.
Awe striking vista blessing amble eyes,
bounteous nostalgia praising persuades.
Peace thine harmonious artwork baptize,
ever-changing Autumn, its shapes and shades.

Lights flickered as evening woke
the tired lagoon
where wrinkled reflections
and silhouettes of a million
spruce steeples
tickled the horizon.
A chorus of slapping halyards
joined a colony of gulls
in their repertoire
above the docked fisherman.
Trees, painted half-white
by windward squalls
faded off like a black curtain
to await an encore at dawn...

Encourage someone today
O' passions flower
Father's Sons and Daughters
Old withered tree beneath thee
Rain clouds over me
Unto the altar
I have done judgments
And for them always
Encourage someone today
Someone's feelings sad and lonely
Encourage someone today
Bother you do
Just but where our my brothers keepers
Oh! Lord oh! God my brothers my sisters
Amidst the church steeples
Do they love me
Chirstian humanity any one being
Whatever my encouragement
Least be known, there's more than none
Encourage
Encourage
Encourage someone today
Those patients flowers the Father's children
His Sons His Daughters as the tree beneath Him
Roots grow
Beyond reaching coming to the ocean
You have done judgment and you have grown
Ooh! Lord God so love my brothers-sisters
Do they love me
Where are my encouragements ?
encourage someone today
When someone's down and sad and laden
Encourage someone today

Pending next droplet, drip mirror spherical
Rolls speedily down leaf spine, drops sluggish
Earth splatter tsunami sends ants hysterical
Stunned dusk undergrowth inherits lush nourish
Urge pink ibis mini flamingoes fossick forage
Monstera nod, almond gaps dim heliotrope
Panther threads trunks, slinky seeker of prey
Teeming technicolor butterfly kaleidoscope
Ulysses sheen self propelled pages paraded
Overtly elated to give and receive nil sage
Umbrella edges bend, rotund umbra worms
Squirm in church of curving purple steeples
Polished olive flags flap, dancefloor foliage
Rune scribes in immaculate symbiotic terms
Accord overlaps then parts, calm sequence
Your forest of frolic pays hedonism homage
Excused from the mantra of hot fate frighten
Rain redeems rotted logs in soft moss christen
Scintillating hinterland halcyon happy village
Twenty Second of October
Two Sides to every Story

Imagine if Putin gave thanks
rather than sending tanks
What if he helped Ukraine's people
rather than crushing their buildings and steeples
What if he took the high road
versus death and destruction for gold
Then we would have world peace
and all would be at ease

"The soul of Nature, echoes endlessly
through the infinite rhythmic tick tock of the seasons."
Quote_by Poet
Dawn awakes as it was given a brush
And a palette of watercolors nurturing nature
Undecided as for spring, summer, fall, or winter.
A blending of warm lemons into the flawless sun
And the harmony of indigo into the boundless heaven.
Purple steeples rose and laid gently against the skyline
As the prepossessing gentle breeze whispers to a sea
Of love struck waving verdant meadow and crimson poppies.
A shadowed, gravel path, dusted with earthly leaven,
Untraveled turns and bends, but just the imprints of the wild.

Devils
Pale demonic devils
Satan
The earth he is hating
People
Destruction to steeples
Desire
To cast them in the fire
Earth
A realm under the dirt
Is hell
All the devils of hell

Why do people live on this site?
I do not know if it’s wrong or right...
Not only poetry, which to me is fine!
But life ....,online, why, all the time?
With people we don’t know at all?
Humanity, I hear another call.
Chill out,,must you in every contest be?
No love for the pure joy of poetry?
Comments to other poets......paper people?
We adore them, as if they live in steeples!
It’s a question to honestly ask.
Must I be here, all day, is that my task?
What about calling a real friend?
Or having coffee with Joe, around the bend?
Or must I be here all day, to comments get?
I think not..... my poet pets.
I encourage all, to not write just to win.
There is a real world, in a horrid spin.
What will you do about that?
Problems do not disappear, by just saying, scat.
Life is too be lived, or am I wrong?
With real humans, singing our song.
Love your family and playful pets.
They do not live forever, on this you can bet!

It’s beautiful only at its best
Not a cold pillow to take rest
The snow tucked into crevice pits
Steep steeples where one can’t sit
Aerial view indeed makes one awe
To linger and trepidatiously pause
For to hike in circles, like an eagle flies
But on endless travail, by foot, not wise
Volcano full of dust and snow
Might finger you as part of its show
It’s beautiful at its best—
Volcano full of dust and snow

As this sphere spins within my hands,
I can see and feel billions of people.
They laugh and work and pray;
Within and outside my steeples.
..I've handcrafted them all,
..Each and every one with love.
..And for those that are troubled,
..I comfort with cloud-based gloves.
....Now I see two unfamiliar souls,
....That straddle this globe.
....They stand in the sun,
....And communicate in ways they know.
......They will never touch,
......Or know each other's scent,
......But both wish to seek...
......What true love is meant.
....They challenge each other,
....With language and riddles.
....And try to make sense,
....Even where knowledge is little.
..So I spin the Earth,
..To close out the lights.
..But these two souls
..Stay up at night!
And then as day breaks,
Comes to my surprise to see...
That at the same time,
They both stare up at me.
