 The blue spots after the rain,
in-between storms,
a remainder
of our nonchalant spring
before the storms bring
knuckle-biting angst & cries.

As I grow a little older…somewhere from within…
I notice these little age spots keep appearing on my skin.

But I’ve decided these little spots…that show my wear and tear
To be thankful …to be grateful…to be happy they are there…

Yes I’ve decided to welcome these spots 
that have joined me on this ride…

Calm Waters, Safe Harbour

I've been to a few strange places in my day
some hotter than the hottest spot on the sun
some colder than the coldest crater on the moon
and all the while I was looking for someone
looking here looking there I was searching everywhere
now I found you you are the one my searching days are done
for my heart

Seeing Spots

Physicists may say,
'Random is not truly random,
it only appears to be,'
but another theory goes,
(according to me)
'Not so when playing games of chance,'
(and I have done the sums)
for this experiment logic states,
'The odds in favour are 5 to 1.'
As I spy with my little eye,
seeing spots and counting dots

dark weekend nights

Change of spots for a turncoat

A turncoat sheds his skin, like autumn leaves,
To don a new coat with many bright hues.
With a mask, and an overcoat for thieves,
For whom or what, when, his deceit may choose.

Once clad in virtue, now as a fraud dressed,
