Busy Geisha, it is about a softener!

Busy Geisha, it is about a softener!

   I chased Asma Ul Husna
   I learned Az zahiru
   I learned Al Batinu,

Then I looked into the clear blue lake
In the depth of the sky.
And waited for the entire day!

As it seemed, the prompt was
"Busy Geisha, it is about a softener!"

Premium MemberOwed To An Ode

Oh, you softener of truth, smoother of feathers,
Dust from the shelves the fingerprints of doubt,
Unopened books read in dark denial
Bindings broken now in feigned forgiveness.

Trim now the shadow of a wishful past
Prune the pain of all concerned
In voices laden with a beggar’s peace
Echoing within the sun-dust gleam.

Hold, for it is but your wont to praise
And do, that kindness thing, you always do
cajole the ego and the id
cold ashes poured into an urn

For praise be but a silenced hopes farewell
And memories a mourner’s ever hell.

Premium MemberThe Cure For Covid 19

There is a cure for covid 19 fact checked by elf on a shelf.
It’s safe in moderation and can be taken at home by yourself.

There is no needle required, but this cure requires a glass.
This potion has three parts, the amount depends on your mass.

It’s been used by some famous actors and the political elite as well.
Just how long it will last, well it’s just too early to tell.

Trump is a veteran user he likes how it gives him a boost.
Pelosi has taken it longer, but she’s no longer able to roost.

You don’t need a gene altering shot, away from home you might need a dime.
This story is absolute crap, but at least it comes as a rhyme.

For one part you’ll need a prescription, as to not get cuffed by an officer.
Try it and you will be amazed, it’s just vodka, Xanax and stool softener.

Premium MemberSon

Across the miles
A man moves in space
To reunite with his link…
To the future.

The child struggles against the specter of sleep.
He feels the excitement of being reunited, almost succumbing to the dark cloak of slumber…
He makes it, tho.

The father, with a curious combination scent of sweat, Lagerfeld, smoke and fabric softener
Enters the room.

The child, eyelids heavier than lead,
Rushes forward.
He grabs his DNA link
At the knees…hugging hard…hugging long.

“I love you Dad”, his tiny voice said.
“I stayed up late just to see you!”
The father grabbed him by the armpits,
And pressed the child’s face against his wiry beard.

And a kiss sealed the transaction.
A pure and essential show of love…
A love that transcends all love…
The love between this father and son…

And the child slept the sleep of peace.

Cindy

Peroxide blonde and covered in petals,
Bleach kills flowers - She’s less softener than metal
A body rooted in pride, trying to run, Jackal and hide.
There’s some double entendres, catch them if you can,
There’s something about her, try to find it, you’ll both be damned.
To Cinderella she’s her own step sister,
Crying out for love, afraid of those who’d listen.
Just someone out there longing for a cause in existence,
Just someone out there, longing for a reason to stay persistent

Time

Tomorrow seems so far away
Today refuses to stay
Tomorrow feels gay
Today lingers in gray
Tomorrow has all the games to play
Today keeps going astray
Tomorrow is an innocent day
Today is tainted by today and past days
Tomorrow never stops dreaming of stars
Today is covered in scars
Tomorrow has new hope to offer
Today can't get anything in order
Tomorrow's melody is softer
Today's roughness needs a softener
Tomorrow seems so far away
Today is tomorrow's stairway, a promising essay

Brainwashed

The washing machine is running
With all our brains inside
Getting a good old washing
From the Media powder on the side

The box says use two scoopfuls
How much more cr*p do our brains require
Surely if they’re washed some more
They will not be able to enquire

Our thoughts are rinsed away
Then the softener hits us hard
Making us believe in lies
The truth for us is marred

We are each and everybody
Brainwashed every passing day
By the Media and Politicians
As we work to earn their pay

Poem In My Pocket

A short ditty
Or a simple wee verse
Ink barely spent before creases form
And then the darkness comes.

Jeans in the laundry
The scent of powder and softener
Blanching colours
As forgotten words wash away.

Premium MemberGeneric Bleach

Little do I care if bleach is generic
Or if fabric softener or detergent
Some bad personality flaws become chronic
Little do I care, if well you really meant

What brings me care is negative remarks spoken_
Harsh words pour forth like rain released kinetic
Energy, power released never to be unbroken
Words that leave my heart's state of being semantic

Semantic=Affected role
