The man sat in a house of dead wood
safe in a meadow where forest once stood
was he really unaware of the forest's ire
or protecting himself by adding logs to his fire....

By some stroke of luck or justice all the kids who were chosen last, mercilessly teased through the years or simply were too fat or thin to field or hit a baseball, managed to get into the same seventh grade class. While the resulting “peanuts” team did not win a single game in the tiny grade school league, at least they finally played.

Standing on the stage with Mi throat too Di,
I could almost start to cry.

But then I saw Hugh in the crowd
And almost laughed out loud.
Your nerves were Wilder than mine
Which reminded me of my punch line.

After Al was said and done,
I did have a Lot of fun.
I couldn’t Wade for my next Turner,
