On All Hallow's Eve
unseen in forests
creepy crawly things slither. . .
inhabiting night
miles from the black woods
bolder creatures (upright) flit. . .
whooping in the streets
woods seem eerier
towns' garish beasts seem wilder. . .
and strangeness prevails
