The Star
There was a handsome boy stargazing
Who spent his nights at the sky winking
He prayed to God to be a star
And his voice to be heard from a far
He ended up singing while his phone ringing....

Stargazing
Day gives way to night
The darkening skies
Come alive

Magic flecks across the dark
Twinkling to their tune
Music unsung

A canvas built on dreams
Vibrating with wishes
Secrets told

Glimpsing into the unknown
Neither here nor there
Just being...

Interlude 014 (Trinsic)
Intrinsic failing is all good and well.
But too much stargazing makes my heart swell.
Ruptured emotions in lieu of mistakes.
A failed romantic interlude and how my heart breaks.
Corners beneath perception.
Disgraced and dying introspection....

Clothed In the Cloudy Morn
Stargazing into the unknown
A million sparkles
In a sea of obscurity
Feeling nothing, felt by no one.

Asking for a sign above
A noble comet ablaze
Doth grace my presence
A treasure from God above

Dew then fell, upon my locks below
Had it been a dream, in lofty thoughts
Awoke with a treasure chest in bosom
Clothed in the cloudy morn....

I sauntered gently into the lilac dusk to gaze at
The twinkling star on a Saturday. I blew it a kiss, then it
Winks at me. Out stargazing, under the twilight sky

T-Ball and Waterfalls
T-Ball and waterfalls -
picnics in the park

Riding bikes and trail hikes -
bonfires in the dark

Sunbathing and stargazing -
beautiful full moon nights

Bar hopping and flea market shopping -
road trips to see the sights

Camping and canoeing -
sandy beaches are a blast

These warm days so full of life -
I just wish that they would last....

Clandestine Stargazing
A spirited moon
   'neath furtive glances,
      anguished mid despair
looked upon hushed
  entangled constellations
      and heeded a warning,
for he knew well of lavishing
    recherché intricacies,
mattered naught how exquisite,
  nothing lasting could come
    of liaisons's effusive grandeur,
       betwixt clandestine stargazers...

Pre - Valentine's Sky
I
Delicious evening
Furtive moon, modest stars
2023 but ancient Sky

II
Cooler, Eastern Cape evenings - delicious
Blazing hot days, 40 degrees Celsius
Give way to ancient ways, in the stars
Only a few tonight (why?) And Venus perhaps?
Two of the four stars in a box, outshone the rest
 - when Moon escaped the cloudy hedge
A few belts with triune stars consoled me...

Looking upon you
a stargazing beauty
born from the dust of ashes
moulded perfectly adoring

Angel formed white lustre
inside the deepest darkness
lovingly you came with warm light
adorned with silver diamond gems
twinkle over oceans landing perfect

Mist of a promise warmly kissing eyes
rainbows colours every shade of heaven
circling a golden halo all around...

Infinite Fervour
Infinite fervour

The pre dawn silence
of two ancient lovers
wrapped around a glass of wine
as they reminisce their epic romance
stargazing in the daylight.
speaking volumes with their eyes.
Her skin begs , his mind flickers
He knows her well.
She reads his mind.
He traces her lips
She gently beckons to him.
And their stargazing is interrupted!
