Beaver Dam
Beaver dam breaks slowly,
Abandoned but still there,
On a bare riverbed,
On a river that was once there....

Love On The Riverbed

He pitched a tent on her banks
Her teeth clenched as pegs dug deep
Campfire sparks, heat's erecting
The winds howling in lost flight

loneliness is a period
without
a full sentence;

it mirrors a riverbed
that once
knew water.

loneliness is like a dried
empty egg shell
that has lost its all;

you were the watered
sentenced yolk of my life
and i miss you so dearly....

Premium Member Night Sounds
While gazing at wonders of star gleams,
listened to wild quail as they cooed dreams.
Up and down dry riverbed came cries
of night birds exploring darkened skies.
Warm-blanket sounds to erase day's rush
Slowly sounds fade, night deepens to hush.

We Can Not Give Up
who renounces
      to review its life,
        and its destiny,
          it's not so simply
            a dry riverbed,
              a dead stream...
                And mainly,
                  an accepted tarnation,
                    a immense failure... !...

Mauve tigers roam
Assiduously down the riverbed.
Roland, my soul’s wanderer,
Is getting the itch again.
Jalousies creak from frames high on the watch towers. Even
Ulysses begged for mercy in the Un-
Abridged text. Though
No one has to know about my tiger.
Are you inclined to pet?...

Divide
"I have spent a lifetime separating,"
like the spaces between his fingers,

or the breaths between our lips-
his taut,
like pulling back a rubber-band that snaps on mine
and hangs loose

or the riverbed of crimson sheets
between our lying figures-

turned away from our closed hearts
and open eyes...

Rhapsody In Gray

Last night,
my soul shamelessly spilled
its reservoir,
cascading into a dry riverbed…
thirsting waters of love long gone
with the misty winds of time.

In the moment,
we sailed teasing tides teeming
with primed ecstasy;
and what was once thought
a swan song sung
became a melodic rhapsody....

Gemstone
Oh precious gemstone riverbed

            Flowing through waterfall beauty boulders

            Embellished deep within multiple rocks

            Beauty resounding clangs of time

            Embedded beyond knowledge

            Washing over thousand green fields

In a place of supreme boundary...

Lovestruck
"Lovestruck"

Wonderstruck on this cheerful midnight,
I overheard the stars by luck.

Starstruck, I pluck the aroma,
An art of white spirituality.
Throw this bouquet off the riverbed,

Refuge this wonderstruck heart,
Sheath ourselves, shuck the peart.

Dumbstruck by this philosophy,
I fall dumbstruck back to sleep....

The River
The resonance of Time's ticking is unbearable!
Once you appeared on the warm and soft riverbed
Years passed stealthily
The 'elfin pinnace' glided on and on
The echoing life slowly engulfed you to a hallucinating slumber

And then

Left on the arid banks
Where even the carcasses of buffaloes rot disdainfully
You stare at yourself, shocked and wide awake......

On the bottom of a swiftly flowing riverbed
Emotions are being polished, in rocks stead
More than can be imagined in anyones head
Joyfully, our two hearts stories are being read
Tangled and entwined, us in this watershed
Sewn, we are by affectionate needle & thread
Eyes locked in conversation, no words ever said
I long for every moment as we cuddle in this bed...

Accepting Diversity Myself
An abandoned riverbed lay between
What I know is in my mind to be true
And the dejected stares of another
For I refuse to be ashamed and bruised

A charge of purpose brightens the concept
That freedom applies to few: and many
Beauty thrives within freedom, so thank you
For being you and letting me be me

Stone Concrete
Chasing tail; A dream,
Hides secrecy; A love,
Open door; locked tight,
Only you and I can go.
An amazing feel gives me,
Roller*Coaster chills; ice-cube,
To the bone.
This promised experiance never
To come down, as we carry these
Hearts leveled sight, where we've
Bonded friendship in stone; concrete,
Forever n' always, as we imprint the
World in coulor; R N' C wile rule the
riverbed suite in love....

Music In Colors
Some time long ago, in the garden by the riverbed I asked her to pick a color - purple or red? She did not answer a while maybe thinking i'm mad Enjoy while it lasts she eventually said Seven colors are like notes in a silent song Can't take any away or it can all go wrong There are seven of each, she then smiled and said: Let the garden bloom and blossom in purple And Red

nauseated

nauseous breath

creature

of resurrection

perpetually bending

Premium Member On Earth
Wind breezes are rustling up leaves
Earth and grass caress your feet
Waves are like coffee foams in a huge mug
Your hands submerged and wet
swimming in an ocean lagoon riverbed

Look up to see, tall snowy hill like iceberg peak tips
Valleys filled with a myriad of animals in a natural nest
Flowers are flush and blush in their seasonal best
All creatures are at peace and nature is at rest
Visualize paradise and enjoy it there...

Riverbed Fools
San Diego Riverbed, our home.
It has an allure for total fools.
Homeless people who are not allowed.
We risk jail to stay near her water.
To toxic to drink unless treated.
A lovely place to live, no rent due.
We create communities that work.
Together we must play cat and mouse.
The police our only predators.
A task force of eight hunt hard for us.
The game played by our rules for now.
They are winning and the loss cuts deep....

Premium Member Goodnight Sweethear T
Why only yesterday
the craggies youthfully
flowed down your cheeks.

When did your neck
turn tweed and your fingers
thicken more than before?

Sure, your ruggedness attracted me,
but this is different. Each new line
a furrow of our riverbed,

a new bend toward lights out
and goodnight Irene from more
than a dimly lit dance floor.

Next to you each night
I slumber to your breath
and in slumber, dream eternal youth.

Swaying
A chocolaty moon was rising.
I have lost my riverbed.
Accuser has become accused.

The hangman has shifted
the ground while glistening
in moonlight. Oxymoronic ?

Eponym exited the lips of a drone fly.
A flotilla of tears
dies in an eye of a storm.

An audacity of a drifter
to stop the promiscuous honors
of strangers in death.

Only night-bloomers will watch
the sunrise in eternal lonliness.
The roots will always stay in dark.

A Song Never Written a Ballet Never Sung
Although familiar
It still was strange
the blacksands
of the riverbed
we're. the purest
Nuggets of gold
We're dull and unseen
til my gloved hands
Found them
Beauty the gems
that shall that shine
a brilliant sparkle
a envious glistening
Shall make awes
and shall smiles

Drones contested in the fields
Buzzy Birds that flow
In challenge
and obstacle
Who shall be champion
To have trophy
and brag to those
who wish to be
Centered in the spotlight...
