The Purple Privy
Privy, the potty place, putrid and purple,
Peeling paint is not appealing,
Plaster, patch and prime,
Purchase pail of paint,
Paint the privy.
Primrose…
Pretty!...

For the Love of a Clear Night
Fly my love
inspired of eye
whilst the ropes that hang you heavenward
entangle to the sky
With star breath
on your night mouth
close your eyes and open wide
for tonight you will be privy to the morning's suicide....

Privy Call
So here's a who's who is the Zoo,
Sue the snake petter, that's who,
She was hugged by the Boa Constrictor,
Who could eat her but only licked her,
And scared it out of her in the loo.

For Linda-Marie's Zany Zoo contest....

Accusations
Politics mirror religion
Few want to concede their belief
While not privy to behind closed doors
A hero may be shown a thief!

So tone down those accusations
The unknown may be known greater
Don't shout too hard your affiliation
It might be, laugh now and cry later!...

One Face
I met a man along the bank,
come back from Galilee

He took my hand and spoke my name,
which he was not privy

His head was crowned with sunlit fire,
his eyes like mine so blue

And as we looked into the pond,
one face stared back—not two

We
Beneath the salutation of stars a million people run free
most of them are in little cars, forgetting how to be
above us only skies are privy to the charms of a stars glee
with all those tiny gadgets, cel phones, & texts we don't see
how all that information, never seems to require a "WE "...

Earthquake
The divide widens
Moving in directions opposite
And with ways parting
Even though traveling on the same path
It’s like being privy to the quaking of earth before it happens
In slow motion
And knowing not what to do or say
Where to find cover or shelter
In the midst of all the chaos,
Does such really exist?...

Memory Lane
Moments in feathers fly
Every step accelerates, ground shakes
Minutes of privy reply
On depth of iced sunny flakes
Retreat uplifts, freely brakes
Yakitori and ale served without blunder
Lane of cognizance never break asunder
All that dwell, thousand smiles in pail
Never drown in well nor surrender
Echoes of schmaltz sail...

Being Privy To Truth
Heart pangs
Beats skip
As breaths become irregular
Calm resends to foreboding fear
While emotions are sorted and maintained deep within the core
Will all this continue?
Will ways merge and move in time?
Or, will they continue on the bipolar orgy of confusion, lies, and regret?
With fears increasing
While ways become more severed than the ones before....

Premium Member Menage a Trois
I advised Jenny Wren that I’d be there by ten.
She told me Amber Rose was in the loop.
So, I simply assumed and just entered her room
Like a fox that’s privy to the chicken coop.

I eased open the door, but I don’t know what for.
The expressions on their faces told it plain.
In confidential three-way conversations,
Sometimes it's the fox that's left out in the rain....

Don't slip into the habit of doubting yourself again
You got this far
You worked your way through stuff
Not everyone was a witness to
Tearing down walls
Setting those boundaries
Necessary ones at that
Not everyone should be privy to what drives you
Don't doubt who you are in a world
Where imitation gets praised
And originality frowned upon

Not Privy To
A well of knowledge we're not privy to
The Atheist fills with ridicule
Construing God as something else
While their Spirit longs to find Him

Their common sense; so critical
An insult to demand proof
Yet Jesus traced His scars with Thomas
Are we again to crucify Him?

Some allotments have been Biblical
By no means limited to
If all our hopes in Him turn true
Is that not more then words could do?...

Premium Member Grindhouse Disappointment
I often wake screaming in the dark from a nightmare,
The details of which I can never remember.
I feel cheated for having been so terrorized
By demons that seem beyond my imagining.
I expect better than that from my grindhouse existence.
If I'm to be pestered by nocturnal poltergeists
And succubi that leave me drained of life,
I’d choose to be privy to the director’s cut.
My curiosity demands no less....

Premium Member War Birds
Where do birds go when war trumpets blow?
Do they weave thick twigs into fragile nests...
or preen away angst- preparing for death.

Do they believe it's just another storm.
Wishing that it be the last.
They're not privy to the prophecies,
nor the heart of wayward man.

After the last of the madness descends
are they forever changed?
Do wings beat a little differently...
are their ancient hymns forever stained....

Sleepless Light
So incredibly awake
As though night were new day
Fabrics richer than dreams
Laced with LSD

Every silhouette and sway
Are privy
To my adoring observation

Wisps of cloud
A Van Gogh sky
Floats by

Features of air
Caress leaves in turn
Casting shadows
In a dance
Soft and romantic
To the kindness of the street lights

When the wind picks up
I see a ray from the sun
Still marching on

It too can't sleep tonight...

It seeps' of servility
And trembles'
With remote authentic'
Unbothered, unchanged
Severalty
Fore Hee hath give me
So much,
For so long and so fully'
That well,
I commend thee
I give him all the praise
And the dominion
Over man fore it is his privy
Non-the-Less
I shall give unto him all of my
Abidance in being
Sanctimoniously entangled
Fore I am at his feet

Precious Life
Poet:  Ken Jordan
Poem:  Precious Life
Edited by:  Sparkle Jordan
written:  March/2015

Life,

No
one
know's

how
many
sunrises,

yet
to come -

Nor
are we
privy

upon
the hour,

our sun,
       will  set.

But,
one thing

I know
      for sure,

We
have NOW!

enjoy life,

 its all
that
we have -

No one
know's

if
tomorrow,

will come -

Live
for today,

Life
is
precious -...

The Public Privy
My phone a private gadget
Sweetheart-
My dress a private garment
Sweetheart-
My weave a private attire
Sweetheart-
My Sop a private program

My roam private trekking
Dear-
My wallet a poach in heart
Lover-
My calls meetings in camera
Baby-
My texts unpublished docs

My utmost toast -
All of this belongs to you
Except what I've said not
This wrist dear you for
This private your public lot
Sweetheart-
I love you a lot...

Mind Sight
by Mark Miller 12/30/2017

Traveler starlight dusts
Our color emotion departed
Ever within never dissident
Below sordid toss assortment
Blooms circuit substance

Our obsessive privy throws
Living symptom circular gaze
Before myopic oceans deep gray
Grasping worlds structure foray
By shipwrecked days estrange

In homes left untouched the many
For whom history appoints
The fill of sentry tales
Holds purpose tenants void...

Private Storms
Restless lullabies deviously pollute my sheepish mind.
Kindly weighted bones keep my soul nestled,
So as to not yet, let it be harmed.

Choking on desert air,
Taking in hollowed breaths from a collapsed chest.
Reconciled tissues release tension of strenuous times.

The only one privy to my silent weather.
Storms in my entrails collide to atom walls.
My outer exterior wilts to such thunderous qualms.
My private storms are never calm......

No One Can Hear Me
I awake, not sure whether I am alive... or dead
I wait, for the smell of the hearth... and baking bread
But, what greets me is the smell of the privy next to my bed
I am like a ghost.. no one remembers what my last words were
I listen for the clucking of hens
I listen for my goat in her pen
I listen for my little brother, my kin
I do not hear them
I yell, For my mother
For my father
For my sister
But no one can hear me,
Not even the gods...

Premium Member The Clothes Line
1955’s American woman ran outside in the mornings to talk.
With their neighbors. One or two of them might possibly squawk.
They would hang their laundry and gossip, laugh and gab.
Clothes line conversations the best therapy most ever had.

We kids tried to listen, but they would all shoo us away.
We were not privy to adult stuff back in the good old day.
I enjoyed hearing my mother laugh. It made me feel glad.
Unless she said something mean about my favorite person, Dad....
