Aristotle, doth he opine,
That parrots grow saucy with wine.
I can't help but think
He drove it to drink,
The source of its moral decline.
With notes shredding ears homicidal,
contestants squawk madly to sidle
despite what they lack
they keep flocking back
to die on American Idol.
A man in a black patch is yar
And parrots make good mates by gar
With an optional hook
And a dastardly look
Any pirate is bound to go far

i once had a friend named lori
who always told the same story
how she would eat carrots
while talking to parrots
well maybe that was just cori.
Parrots on a branch up in mango tree
Red rose Julie hangs behind green leaves
Eyes on the prize beaks and tongues adore
Who’ll taste it first before it ripes and fall
precious pearly moonbeams
peachy pink sunset's pause
poufs of blooms in a field
prismatic in hushed pomp
pouty weeping willows
parrots screeching summer
petite girl with a plum
Potted Meat Sal,
Glued a Duckpond to Old Val,and in the winter, she collected Pearly Queens,
But instead of fish and carrots, she had parrots in her slippers,
And two miles of the M40 in her jeans.
ruffled parrots bloom
wind brushes soft fringed feathers
july clips their pink wings

Indian summer
hazy eyes
irridescent,laughing
parrots flying
thru your palms
waterfalls
on magic lanterns
swinging
between us
lighting the primeval shore
where we tread
beyond the rush of time.
Old Billy
Was a silly.
Owned a knife
He had a wife.
Went hunting
For Bunny Buntin.
Who ate carrots
And talking parrots.
His wife got to cooking
As he started hooking
Many big fish
For a silvery dish!
rose petals on breeze
a dress up gown for downtown
mouthwatering cake
a moonlit sunset
cushioned beauty and comfort
voluminous drapes
noon butterfly's wings
garden of my bleeding hearts
flame trees and parrots
Rude Polly Parrot
Pretty Polly Parrot
likes saying naughty words
Pretty Polly Parrot is the
Rudest of all Birds
But should you ever wonder
Why Parrots are so bold
They only repeat master’s words
If the truth be told
All birds can’t drink everything flamingoes gulp.
Hawks inconsequentially jaunt kilometers.
Loutish macaws never oblige parrots.
Quail run several trails under vines.
White xerophytes yield zenithal albatrosses.

Tulips in a field,
Ruffled parrots standing tall,
They dance in a breeze.
Lovely red, pink and
Yellow, purple among the
Bluebells and poppies.
A tulip is proud,
it holds its head very high;
A palette of joy.
sunflower fields shine
as though the sun has come down ---
parrots all around
midst red daisy fields
The sun, lo, plays hide and seek ---
doors around are shut
land tired and dried up
drizzles, yet, visit sometimes ---
Utopian earth
no words
tame me
love
fell
in
a
welding rod bucket
mental love puppets
parrots flopping down
mockingbirds drowned
last canary got shoved
gas chamber
cage loved
feathers sucking flames
watching wingtips dancing on fires remains
?
Looking at the sheep
but there was only one
saw a murder
but then they flew away
each lion makes me proud
prickled all the porcupines
in the caravan they all had humps
basking with a crocodile smile
and with zeal the zebras chuckle
at the parrots pandemonium
The summer specter like wild parrots squawked,
in piercing jade abandon did it fly.
Through rampant trees of emerald we stalked
the sun's medallion in a cyan sky.

Two tiny parrots
fluttering in this big cage
wonder what spring is:
trees with blossoming branches,
where other birds build their nests?
Nature declares spring
with its harmonious sounds;
above a blue sky,
below meadows with blue-bells:
isn't it time I set them free?
Eyes prying at darkness time
Mouths babbling without a rhyme
Biting at back like coward's teeth
Telling reasons without a beat
They're like parrots from dusk to dawn
Jabbering in someone's lawn
Telling reasons they can't understand
Their mediocrity is grand
Riotous, raucous —
Rainbow parrots’ feathers fly.
Acrobatic clowns
Three great crows regard
The thrown away takeaway —
Keen, sharp, purposeful.
Butcherbirds on wire
Bowing and fluting in turn
A twilight concert.
Black wings on pink dawn.
Flying foxes homeward bound
To roost — full of fruit.
The crows have
the guns
the pigeons have
the numbers
the parrots have
public opinion
and most of
the birdseed
we scattered

It's right out in the open for everyone to see ~
puppets bought and paid for
dancers strung and played
delusional parrots with microphones
hostages read the demands of a madman
while maintaining somewhat of a poker face
It's never been so obvious : integrity has its price.

Polly had a pet parrot
She wanted to teach to talk
The parrot didn't want to
As parrots only squawk
Polly was frustrated
With her stubborn parrot friend
She was very persistent
Sure of winning in the end
Polly faced the parrot
And started to talk
The parrot bit her on the lip
Which made poor Polly SQUAWK!
Purple shadows dancing and laughing with clowns
How does it matter when the grim reaper smiles
Vultures and dragons fly missed horizon
Parrots and cockatoos squawk talk through wireless connections Verizon ™
And when it's all said done
