Early Bird

The crows have

                         the guns

the pigeons have

                         the numbers

the parrots have

                         public opinion

and most of

                         the birdseed

we scattered

Something tells me this is a deep one (too bad I am not too deep thinking) Anyway, I really likes it!! Do you have any poem for us lonely night owls? I don't like those early birds very much!! (sure enjoy your stuff)

Thanks. And while I do not usually take requests, I've made an exception in this case. ;-) Check out "23:20" which I just posted. Enjoy!

Too cute Darryl. It made me smile. I do love the birds and feed them all the time. I think there is something to be read between the lines here though. am I right? God Bless, JB

an interesting write. here, in alabama, those cute squirrels hog all the seeds. Maybe the crows can shoot them. Thanks for sharing your work. Jancarl
