Wrong Language

Polly had a pet parrot
She wanted to teach to talk
The parrot didn't want to
As parrots only squawk

Polly was frustrated
With her stubborn parrot friend
She was very persistent
Sure of winning in the end

Polly faced the parrot
And started to talk
The parrot bit her on the lip
Which made poor Polly SQUAWK!

Hel Shirley, It seems that the parrot had a mind of its own. He or she did not want to llearn another language. Hugs. \Darlene
