Parrots In a Mango Tree

Parrots on a branch up in mango tree

Red rose Julie hangs behind green leaves

Eyes on the prize beaks and tongues adore

Who’ll taste it first before it ripes and fall

Lucky you to have a parrot in a mango tree! I love parrots. I had two love birds (small parrots). Anyhow, your poem is great, very descriptive. Take care.

Made me smile, as in my minds eye, I could see the fruit and parrots in all their wonderful colours. Beautiful Arturo!

The poem is as lovely as the video is hilarious! I had never pictured it! Have never seen parrots in the wild actually, have not even thought it a possibility. Nicely done Arturo!

G'day Arturo … reminded me of our apple trees right now. The apples are not quite ripe and a swarm of Rainbow Lorikeets found them to their liking - thanks Arturo - Lindsay
