Broken String
a pantomime of love
a song that doesn't play
a memory marked in time
a song from yesterday

guitar with a broken string
a chord you couldn't get
no lyrics anyway to
this song that I forget...

My life has been confined by rhyme
Not in my prime as each limb I climb
On rhyme I fixate all of the time
A penny a word, maybe a dime
When the word won’t come, I pantomime

Kailua Beach, sandy shores
keep paddlers at bay view,
kissing turquoise surface,
keenly riding the lips,
knocking on pantomime,
kid like, with seaman dreams,
kayaking reefs of bay.

Our world is such a ludicrous stage
artistes perform a pantomime
For blind folks comfortably seated

did a selfie on her phone

Horse Lover
I'm in love with a pantomime horse
In my mind it wo'nt go away
Over jumps or on a flat course
I grow more in love everyday

I can see when it raises its' lips
Its' smiling and laughing white teeth
And I know, with a flick of its' hips
It will show me its' zip underneath...

Tales
Some memories are a pantomime in a dolls house.
A slide-show in a small theater.
Audience of one.

The spectacle is painted in sunny colors,
some skillful child chose fairy-tale smiles.

A head heavy with sarcasm bares its teeth.

The watcher arises
stretches an ancient story-line.
Starts again....

The Pantomime of Love
How lowly do the heavens hang?
This great Earth begins at your feet.
The sound of church bells that just rang.
Falling in love when eyes first meet!

The pantomime of that one love.
A born aspect of your being.
Like the mating dance of the dove.
You're the mirror that love's seeing!

Premium Member Pink Elephant
Meet misty miles,
Yell yes you yoke.
Pink poignant pile,
Intuit invoke;
Nurture nice niche,
Keep keeper kind.
Etch each enrich,
Live laughing lines;
Elephant each,
Pantomime play;
Hurl heavy hitch,
Apt aim arrays;
Now notice near,
Touch trickles tears.

The light bulb absolved its flickering duty

Bayonet stuck in the depth of despair

‘Screw you’ but the mismatch prevailed

Premium Member If the World Was Ending
Sublime moments could be the last,
Pantomime parades like it’s infinite;
Crime to not explore a perfect kiss
time to taste every single minute;

Aggressive in my pursuit to explore
give no energy to melancholy lamenting;
Provocative, come undone and savor you;
Live for love, if the world was ending....

My spiritual umber a-rose
Full in bloom, as in an erupt!
There was the a sweet scent of flora

I viewed through that verdant screen
From my bough brushed tranquil dene
As all on the Easter time
golden daffodils silent bell ringing did,
in innocent pantomime."

Passing Evening
Night sky entourage shining
intermittent singing, chiming.
Misty clouds are dancing by
the solitary moon up high.

Distant stars ebb and flow
players in a theatre show.
The moon and its soliloquy
shrouded clouded mystery.

Pantomime in fading glory
indicates its silent story
to distant planets audience
seems a time to reminisce....

Premium Member Put Away the Tree
The time has come to put away the tree.
Her Christmas charm has faded over time.
A month ago she greeted all with glee.
Now she appears the victim of a crime!
Disheveled lights and ornaments agree,
the tree tells us she’s tired in pantomime.
Because we’re sure to miss her tinseled glow,
I say this year we keep the mistletoe!
