Passing Evening

Night sky entourage shining
intermittent singing, chiming.
Misty clouds are dancing by
the solitary moon up high.

Distant stars ebb and flow
players in a theatre show.
The moon and its soliloquy
shrouded clouded mystery.

Pantomime in fading glory
indicates its silent story
to distant planets audience
seems a time to reminisce.

I love this kind of meter and flow in poetry. Was starting at your first posts and this was my favorite from when you started. Rhymin with nice imagery, and easy to understand!

Thank you so much for reading my poem Andrea. This is one of my earliest poems. I attempted to use the night sky as a metaphor for characters performing in a show
