but during a slow downpour,
the darkness glows

negative memories
fade like melting snow
slipping from mountaintops
like blurry scribbles
in an old diary
or a yellowed photograph
the faint outlines there
to be reminded of
to be forgiven
not forgotten...

Can make them stay...
