Premium Member Feeling Nostalgic
how i miss
the dark calm
of our hideout
where we would
share our secrets
and feel safe
time stood still
in our cocoon
where life seemed
ever simpler

Beeswax bumble betty sits in luxury in her steed’s antler nest.
Knowing that her situation is remarkable, maybe the best.
Others parade around but they never come this far west.
She is in her element, loving her hideout, in the antler’s nest...

Midnight Maiden
The time I was born
Was neither night nor morn
Neither even nor dawn
Nor middle afterno'n

The time I first cried
Was after the sun did hide
'Twas when the night died
And sky was ebony dyed

The time I came out
Was when the moon was about
When the crickets did shout
In their winter hideout

Soap Bubble Dreams
As tiny globes they float,
Wearing a rainbow coat,
Filled with young breath they glow,
The soap bubble dreams we blow.

Pop! They burst with stranger’s touch,
In the windless sky, away from our clutch.

...Life is rife with lies we tweak,
A hideout from our miseries!
Flightless wings and wailing dreams,
Are a kick back to reality!...

She is the dearest friend I know way back in high school
She was the one who had my back when boys did rule
They taunted and made fun calling Messy sticky tooth
Shadow told them to get lost, giving them the booth

Shaking my fist, I put them to rout
sending them fleeing to their hideout
I dusted you down and gave you a hug
you smiled tenderly as you felt so snug...

Can It Be
Can it happen this very day;
That a thin ray of mercy from the heavens,
Hits towards my dark hideout,
And shines all the way?

And,
Can it be that I am saved;
From the wrath of man,
That tosses,this,my life,to and fro;
Like rejected sacrifice?

And,
Can it come to pass,
That the living hope of promises;
Written well that all will be well,
Be well tonight?...

Hunchback of Notre Dame
Up in his bell tower hideout
Recluse guardian of
The most famous cathedral
Through all ages
Parisian landmark
Immortalized in world literature
Heart of harrowing drama
What's left of his undying love
For his beautiful Esmeralda

Premium Member My Hideout
The sun slowly fades from the horizon
The dusk clears the way for darkness
I wake up only to see the sun fading
Even I know, another day shall rise again
I soon shall fade away
Into my hideout

The bliss of the mindless
Drifting away
I wrap myself in the blanket of yesterdays
I shall dance upon the silence
Shuttered all the windows and doors
Time has beckoned me to a final sleep

Into my hideout...

He did not know he was a creepy unknown fey
He crept through the meadow every day
Miniature brownie boy with eyes of crystal blue.
Wearing a hat of goose down, butterfly wings too

His furry legs got wet in the dew, but he kept going.
He would have to find a hideout when it started snowing.
Children chased him a couple of times and got his picture.
In this gorgeous meadow of flowers he was a regular fixture....

Crossing the Deaf
A siege had an agenda
for a suicide match.
Treat him with dignity.

A proxy face of a serial
adultery. The collateral damage
will not be undone.

The aggressor denies the scrutiny.
You will find some upheaved
boats in his hideout.

There cannot be any deniability
for a long legged journey
towards the hot coals.

The battle for the lost glory
has begun between two moons.
one in sky, other in uprising.

Nature Freaking Out
Greenish meadows, stony benches
Doves and crows toilet in bunches
Huge turnout..

Without fear of baited string bides
Flying fishes in lone seasides
From hideout..

Tree top squirrels wandered bottom
Like torpor kings in their kingdom
Free rollout..

Weeds and shoots sprouting from the soil
Dormant seeds sensing human spoil
They freakout..

Birds and beasts call on us to boo
World became a big human zoo
In stakeout.....

Titles
my life is filled with titles of all kinds
which is all here in my mind
lets start with title of my first poem
its call home sweet home
second is about
a secret hideout
that you can’t find out
then third and forth
flowers and land on the north
and fifth one
the first game I ever won
I will tell names of other titles later
I promise I would
The title of my sixth poem is failure
And in the last I bet other titles are so good...

Premium Member Secret Hideout
There is a view that sets me free
The mere thought of it soothes my heart
When I encounter glum ennui
My mind conjures it up as art
It’s my safe hideout
Be night or day

It’s a haven whereto I flee
Attributes I couldn’t possibly impart
No matter how moving may be your plea
The mystery is pivotal in part
Its awesome cachet
A fresh bouquet
