My Hideout

The sun slowly fades from the horizon
The dusk clears the way for darkness
I wake up only to see the sun fading
Even I know, another day shall rise again
I soon shall fade away
Into my hideout

The bliss of the mindless
Drifting away
I wrap myself in the blanket of yesterdays
I shall dance upon the silence
Shuttered all the windows and doors
Time has beckoned me to a final sleep

Into my hideout

Hi Arthur; I like the poem, but you are not going to any hideout anytime soon. You still have miles to go before you sleep. Good night.... Lucilla
