an unseen menace
a state of perplexity,
hard pressed analyst
from behind binding masks
all that they do, is for you.

has sexual perversity been so at home!
You’d be hard pressed to prove conclusively,

Have Confessed I Am Hard Pressed
Have Confessed I Am Hard Pressed

Have confessed that I am hard pressed;
This certainly surely should be stressed;
About think;
Thought sink,
Or ordinarily we have been obsessed.

Trump's Brain Towards Insanity
Trump's Brain Towards Insanity

Trump definitely had to be hard pressed,
By others being  respectfully addressed;
Hard to hear,
Far and near,
As his brain towards insanity digressed.

The sun is scorching hot across the plain
While parts of the south are drowning in rain;
The weather people are hard-pressed to explain
Those who suffer can do nothing but complain.

A Trump Triglyceride
A Trump Triglyceride

What we call it is Trumpglyceride,
And did never want to be denied;
Hard pressed;
Poorly dressed,
So over and over he lied and lied.

Premium Member One Day At a Time
lonely
longing
hard pressed
seemingly forgotten,
missing
     from
the calendar
          of society:
hope
      dwarfed
      by dark despair
riding
       the automatic
       staircase
of routine
to
...tomorrow and beyond...

A Beggar's Life
For cash hard pressed
No clothes to dress
Mind depressed

Gaze through the night like a sleepless owl
Body covered with grime and odour so foul
Swallowed up in earth’s immense bowel

Left behind my begging bowl
A life I lived on Government dole...

Trump Was Hard Pressed

To answer for crimes was hard pressed
So in the end he finally confessed
On one way street went in wrong direction
They said he had a loose connection
Not only that out was completely stressed.

By the Way, He's Gone (Diminished Hexaverse)
What madness is this?
Could you not resist~
Such a blow carried
Hard pressed on mine ears
As tapped without fist

I need not hear
Your words again
Give me time, now
To absorb them

'Tis not -- our
 first-- greeting
Such an end…

We’ve lost
One more

Friend…...

Pretender
i'm a pretender
a thin man in disguise
return to sender
with address hard pressed to find

considered a keeper
secrets about myself
i'm a deciever
some things i can not help

a reverse revolator
there are things i'll never tell
a strong detonator
wiring myself up to fail...

Different Colors
I am not worthy,
I do not deserve the breath that could sustain others,
I am hard pressed to accept this incredible privilege,
Though the burden is heavy, I will not disappoint

They are all failures,
It is appalling the space these inbred's lives waste,
The are not worth the air they breathe,
I alone am deserving...

In a Mind Life Goes On
you died long ago;
 yet i still feel your breath
brush against me
like pen on paper
hard-pressed
searching a mind
for answers
unfound

i try to stay
inside the lines
they are everywhere
i turn
and I turn
wrist upward
and feel you
like a knife
against flesh
full force

it drains me
and i die
within each poem
born

and yet
somehow
you live...

Showering
Hard pressed
Make clean the street filth
Cost of water, rising through rain
She sheds her scales
One eye then two
An onlooker then be four
Sounds of stream and myth
Flowing, breathing
Scattered shoes and gin
Steam uplifts like clouds
Roses and jasmine lightly in air
Swirling drain
Wash, wash, wash it away
Only beauty now to be shared....

Premium Member A Two-Faced Son-Of-A-Gun
Even Honest Abe Lincoln admitted himself that he wasn't all that pretty,

   But you'll be hard-pressed to find a president who was more witty!

      During debates, Stephen Douglas called him a two-faced son-of-a-gun.

         Lincoln replied, "If I had another face, do you think I would wear this one?"

Fine Tunning
In the mist of the strom
The eye of uncertain feelings come
Asking the questions who, what, when where
Then why so long
Silent partner called on
Waiting in sureness
Enjoying the right out look
Dressing up in spirit
Forming and focusing the God step
To remain at this time
Hard pressed to find
Strength holding of love
Situations compounding
Moved with arousing
Faith lasting...

Premium Member Every Thought Captive
I’m captivated by a verse from Paul: take captive every thought that enters in so that you might obey. A cry is raised above the din; hard pressed, I am assaulted, under siege. To me! To me! I hear my lord and liege and cast my eyes on him, for when he’s standing tall, this world’s enticements pall.

The Butt of My Own Joke
My verse is free
My cadence my own
But maybe I should stick to
I Do Not Know
For trying to find
A pigeon hole
Constipates my poetic flow
While I love to cook
I love to taste
I'm hard pressed to follow a recipe
I'm here to admit
Despite my best efforts
It simply isn't me
So in I Do Not Know
I will push my poems
Such should suite me fine
There I can stick my rhyme
Wherever I like
Including where the sun don't shine....

Straight-up the arrows,
hard-pressed the doors
to all the rooms
in all the houses
on Clark Street.

Father Coughlin brought blessings
thinned with broth
from potato peelings.

Women poured tears
into fringed shawls,
and buried their dead
above Dublin’s seashore,
along the banks
of the river Liffey.

Through the years,
the ghost of James Clark,
Bugsy’s brother-in-law,
pursued Al Capone
all the way to his grave....

Be “blessed not stressed” yeah, that is the test,

Just a little bit o rest, that is my quest,

But the zest of the fest got me hard pressed,

There’s a pest in my breast, cardiac arrest,

My chest heavy like Mae West,

I confess, I’m distressed and a little depressed,

But I divest my unrest, priorities reassessed,

I request a glassful of the best, kindred spirits coalesced,

The fest repossessed with jest and all the best

Peace....

Premium Member Hard Pressed
You sometimes remember but then forget,
that high fever causes your cheeks to flush;
The softest parts inside remain at risk,
pure happiness is a dangerous bet;
In the midst of that adrenaline rush
now you’re believing that it can exist;
So close to the accord that you deserve
careful that white flag is not an ambush;
Held prisoner subjected to a frisk;
To find someone not thrown off by a curve?
                   Hard pressed....

Compress
My heart withers at the gates
of which exclude my soul,
For who guides my hand now
pushes the wind towards me,
for the fire that I can control
becomes unsteady.
My actions become a mirror,
one that can not trace
my actions,
but the opposite of my will
is shown.
For I am compressed,
A spring held down
for too long,
it’s shape is now finite,
and still.
Gravity has been hard pressed,
my minds stage has become
damaged.
Why do I feel to blame?...

I Am Thankful For Quiet Mornings
10 November 2012  7:18 AM

I am thankful for quiet mornings.

It is at these times when my mind and heart can rest.
When worries are not so hard pressed.

Hot coffee clears the fog.
My heart is cleared through talks with God.

My dogs and cats say good morning with glee.
Then I let them out doors to go pee.

I read and I post and share with and from my friends.
I breath and build strength before daily grinds begin.

I thank you Father for these quiet times.
Renewing my heart and my mind...
