Three rather out-of-date witches
Faced small unexpected glitches
Cursed the night they were burned

For youthful beauty and riches...

Glitches In Pitches Done By Witches

For office were running weird witches,
Who had presented  profound pitches;
We heard,
Are absurd,
That were Trump's with many glitches.

Find Glitches In Stitches

In everyone and thing, we find glitches,
So God will gladly help us sew stitches,
And a dirty deal,
Does not appeal;
God likes keeping minds out of ditches.

Poetrysoup and the Ipad
Once upon a time
PoetrySoup and the iPad didn't play well
Glitches, bugs, fixes, made me whine
As I couldn't enjoy this wonderful site from my iPad

Now they'll playmates having fun in this world of technology
Speeding right along poetic Internet highway...

Jan, i have posted several replies to your and other members comments on my poetry.
But alas! the technical glitches you spoke of have removed them. This i hope is one way
to let you know that i have not ignored all of your kind comments. George

The Pants
A marriage will be sweet romance
When the wife's the one who wears the pants.
Free of problems, free of glitches
When it's the wife who wears the britches.
No arguments or ugly scenes
When it's the wife who wears the jeans.
Marriage is lovely, face the facts,
Only when women wear the slacks....

Glitches
It was more than
I could take.
The phallic paranoia.

Can I come out of
your body and kneel
before death ?

Less than dark
I dream of the nipples
spurting out venom.

A pumice raft
of the crowd, sailing
on the waves of narcissism.

Invisible sharks
on high seas
open the lambs for salt.

Can you eat your
words please ?
There is nothing left on the plate.

Birthday Gal
You plan a day and never know
Exactly how that day will go
For glitches happen, even though
You’ve tried your very best.

Yet when all aspects seem to flow
And happy moments start to grow,
Your spirits soar and make you glow,
In every way expressed.

A view more lovely than Van Gogh
And non-stop wishes all bestow
On me, the birthday gal, a show
Of joy that’s unsuppressed....

Sassy Strife Stocked
punctured passion plucked
gaunt confetti crunched
perforating porous pulps
oozing glitches gulped
cozy contractions cupped
lanky liquid's lust

eerie efforts etched
pompous platter's crest
sucking salient stress

gullible groom grooved
hoisted passion puked
bride trust bruised

meagre honeymoon mocked
sassy strife stocked.

Premium Member Memories
We have only a moment
till our present is past
for only in memory
can anything last

why we have photos
descriptive notes
recordings we make
thinking somehow the
moments can be stored
to take

but minds fail
and technologies have
glitches
just pass a whisper around
then compare while laughing
in stitches

wondering if life
is the butt of some joke
in the end all moments
going up in smoke...

One Small Zinger
You buy some tickets, make some plans,
Anticipate an outing
But always with an asterisk
For naturally, you’re doubting…

‘Cause life throws curve balls and you can’t
Be looking for straight pitches.
“The best-laid plans,” the saying goes,
Are filled with unknown glitches.

And so you cancel, with a shrug,
The strikeout one small zinger,
As fate delights in pointing
With its well-known fickle finger....

COPLA DIECINUEVE : This Bad Guy World

All biped animals aren’t Men
Some are elves, fairies and witches
Others yet thugs

All are born to play roles given
Time Place Parents Beliefs Glitches:
The fate each lugs

Guys good and bad make up charade
Tug of war levels out with time:
If bad guys lose

When bad guys gang up to invade
Other guys living in good chime:
Charade red glows

In the blackest of nights, like tar so thick
time tangled into a bewitching twist
as hours faltered in starts and fits
minutes and seconds lost their wits
and tumbled into a frightening glitch.

A black hole swallowed the grid of time
glitches of past and future timelines
history was swept into a vortex mine
panic reigned, an apocalyptic sign
while the universe fled, never more to shine.

Premium Member How We See Things
How We See Things Written: by Tom Wright 11/24/2017 Our blessings often come disguised as glitches, And are unrecognizable as truly a God send; We’ve squandered our time in pursuit of riches, And comprehend what’s past we can’t amend. The past is a file containing previous history, And memory isn’t always an accurate view. Our recall of things oft becomes a mystery, And our distortion of fact becomes the new.

Time Crossing
When I hold the pen,
it trembles in my hand; the poem.

The catharsis.
Zero minus, to no to everything
against the main stream.
You start kinking.

Gawking ?
Every night I carry my glitches
to bed, to fight my demons.
Falteringly, you speak:
it should not have happened.
The genetic aberration ?

Nudges the crass exhibition
of alphabets of exorcism.
You invoke the dumb gods, who will
not vacate the accelerandos.

Premium Member Wish For An Ordinary Day
Another day marches through September With its ordinaries, its appointments, its glitches -- Hopefully, it will pass as most uneventful, Not seared in our brain by some tragedy I’ll settle for a flaccid day of mundanity, A “live and let live” cliché kind of every day With a mere sprinkling of raw spontaneity Slipping into a quiet evening of tranquility.

Fallen Angels
Forsaken land where Earth's tears tremble,
A place where all the world's hope crumbles.
A place where angels lose their faith,
Begin the end in this cold place.
As blood pours down their wingless backs,
Their skin is sewn, love fades to black.
Cut the ties and sew the stitches,
Nothing can help fix these glitches.
Gallows tower everywhere,
Guillotine dreams fill the air.
There's no place for these fallen angels,
They stay here and hurt unabled....

Premium Member Our Biological Clock
We are all creatures of time: tick-tock, tick-tock
A finely tuned machine is our biological clock

Set into motion by the hand of God
It eases us gently into the Land of Nod

Lets us know when we awaken too soon
Curls up with us at night in winter's cocoon

And yet, it seems to me it's not been perfected
As these two glitches I long ago detected

Days are long, while years speed by
And how afternoons at work do slow down, Oh my!...

Blood
Blood inside our bodies flows
To keep our tickers ticking.
We never think about it ‘til
A problem’s up and kicking.

A tiny sample might reveal
Deficiencies or glitches,
For blood cells can’t keep secrets –
They’re like adolescent snitches.

The needle hits a vein and then
The truth comes pouring out
To let the doctor know
What all the fuss was all about.

Amazingly, one little vial
Can give a needed clue,
Which was within us all along,
But hidden from our view....
