Another Trump Trick
Another Trump Trick

For another Trump trick we did fall,
And not only that, we bought it all,
Lips protrude;
People  elude;
Submit golden shower in his stall.

My Bleeding Heart
Conscience seems
not to be
characteristic
of my breed
what I dare say
is common sense
appears to elude
the free
while I
awestruck
my heart enraged
is chained
to every tree....

Words written
in my mind

Letters

So much to say
 poetic words

Even Though We Should Seclude
Even Though We Should Seclude

Even though what we should do is to seclude,
And never knew where it was and then elude;
In search of,
Below and above;
Still seemed so shrewd when properly viewed.

Rapture of Serenity
The beautiful iridescence of the sunset
Exuberates love and happiness
Peace takes residency inside my mind
Stimulating feelings that elude time
Totally free without boundaries
Caught in the rapture of serenity...

You took me on a wonderful journey
To a place unknown
Taken there simply
By the magic of your poem

I so enjoyed my journey
I never wanted to leave
Fortunately, there will be many more
To journey and elude reality ….....

Premium Member Hunting Luck
As long as
You are hunting
Luck
You are not
Worthy
Of it
As long as
You are
Chasing
Erotic love
Passion will
Elude you
As long as you are
Hellbent on
Chasing what
You can
Not have
Luck
Will not
Come
Your way.

Luck knows
Better....

Harm's Way
Harm’s way is known only when we choose it to be
Unless it’s thought of or called upon
There is no way it knows your name

Power lies only in your palm and yours only
But control must be found, searched, and caught
Only then will we elude harm's way...

Premium Member Time Eludes Me
It’s true that time waits for no man,
It certainly manages to elude me ...
One minute things look way off in the future,
The next they are out of reach in the past,
When you think that it’s passing slowly,
You’ll find, that it’s actually travelling fast....

Come Out, Come Out- Wherever You Are
With Peace of Mind just in my grasp,
I fall from Cliffs of Catastrophe
Before I wake, subconscious lapse-
Snapping me back to "Reality"
From which I run, I flee- evade,
I must escape at any cost!
To elude the Pain and Problems made
Which wear me thin and leave me lost......

Yesterday and Tomorrow.
Thoughts of paradise
Swiftly diminish
Into melancholy memories…

Each gripping steadfastly
Romantic eyes of then and someday
Burnishing our hushed moments of fantasy…

Letting us elude our todays
Which initially, divine in desire
Converts into yearning soon enough…...

Chicken Dips
Chicken Dips

Wish one day I hear the curved chicken’s lips
Moan about ending in ‘chicken and chips.’
Gourmets, I thought, by the beaks’ curved lips,
Back would be chased to their foreign ships!
Alas! In boiling oil will never elude the dips!

Pale Daughters Part Six
Pale daughters dont give their heart
Conceived in the garden of Eden
The brambles alternate now

To give your heart
is a irritant Sin
Low things elude fences
The Moon is a big enough bust

Tired of giving
Following familial line
Keep buttressed
Our spirits struts outside wedlock...

Dear Friends,

I am here to elude you. I derive from your
effervescent pain. But you wont ever see me
coming, not till it's too late. Did you
taste that? It was , what you say.."bittersweet".
And your heart, what shall it do now?

Forever Yours,
Lies

Listen to poem:
I am a girl of what could be -

my love for ever in front of me.

I cannot catch it or ask it to tea.

It will for ever elude me.

But I have a love of a different sort.

It's not the make-believe I thought.

This is my man who lives with me.

Love has truly come to tea.
