Come Out, Come Out- Wherever You Are

With Peace of Mind just in my grasp,
I fall from Cliffs of Catastrophe
Before I wake, subconscious lapse-
Snapping me back to "Reality"
From which I run, I flee- evade,
I must escape at any cost!
To elude the Pain and Problems made
Which wear me thin and leave me lost...

This is an epic poem. Glad I stumbled upon this one, trying to find my sister's poem called Come Out (a collab me and my sis wrote). This one's fantastic. Love these two first lines: With Peace of Mind just in my grasp, I fall from Cliffs of Catastrophe. Awesome from beginning to end!

Your writes accomplish what real poetry does for me....lets my mind wander endlessly....imagining scenarios within! TO MINE FAVES! Am on my way to end of the year open-air market with Ma (she's 84, like to get her outside) for Thai-Pepper bushes the farmers pull @at frost and sell for $1.00! Will stop back tonite!
