Thoughts of paradise
Swiftly diminish
Into melancholy memories…
Each gripping steadfastly
Romantic eyes of then and someday
Burnishing our hushed moments of fantasy…
Letting us elude our todays
Which initially, divine in desire
Converts into yearning soon enough…
